I had surgery to remove a goitre that developed with hyperthyroidism. They cut too much out. Now I have hypothyroidism and must take thyroxine daily. I would prefer a natural alternative.
Hey ATP, been loving the podcast (and all of Steve's jokes as usual). I was wondering if you could do an episode covering chilblains and chilblain treatment! Especially during Melbourne's cold weather, I get really severe chilblains with cracking, bleeding, burning, horrible swelling, discolouration, and the worst itching (which means i get a very inturrupted sleep). My GP prescribed anti-biotics, anti-histamines, and anti-inflammatories - all of which i know have a negative impact on the gut (and have not worked thus far). The only thing that I have found to work so far is calamine lotion, but it only soothes itchiness for roughly 10 minutes. Would love a naturopaths take on some herbal or topical remedies that could reduce inflammation or relieve any other symptoms like itchiness. Lots of love!
I am 46 yers male suffering with hashimoto’s and normal people never understand us. How trouble life we going through and there is no proper medication not given by doc.

So much health issues related to thyroid ... mine is hyper but not to warrant any intervention.
