Who is that new guy Ragna is fighting? He seems to be a brawler class.
Naoto Kurogane, from one of the novels. He can go Bloodedge mode and have white hair and red eyes similar to Ragna.
+StyleshStorm he is what you would say a better ragna since he has a legit backstory.
+Henjin Orochi well he's definitely not better than Ragna comparing fight style, but he's still awesome

I'm so hyped for this game and it's story. I just finished BBCP's story, so I'm really excited to see where this is going.

It's interesting to note how Naoto is also a Terumi - I wonder if there is a relation between him and Yuki Terumi. Regardless pumped for this game and its console (extend) release.

I Used to play Blazblue I said that because both series plots are a complete fucking mess

BlazBlue... I dunno what they're thinking. As much as I love the story, you're gonna get a lotta negative feedback if you intentionally leave the player in the dark...constantly.
They better wrap it up in this next game! (assuming it really is *the* last one.)

Damn...that's harsh.
BlazBlue isn't for everyone; that's for sure. I wouldn't say any one story is worse than the other though. However, if anything, CP made it much easier by taking anyway the countless bad/fake ends and stopped forcing you to play every single character for hours. It actually felt more like a visual novel.

Where is the story at now? This is the third fighting game where I actually genuinely care about the plot. Someone gimme' a quick summary pls. Also did the art style Change again!?
+StyleshStorm The story is a mess now. You're best off checking out the blaz blue wikipedia and some of the other entries. Chronophantasma, Xblaze, and the novels/other garbage really did a number on the story.

Ragna's lost his memories, everyone is in this dimensional space called the "Embryo", Naoto is some sort of expy to Ragna, and everything is going to shit.

Darin Rosu Like a different take on a character. Naoto shares a lot of characteristics with Ragna. (Bloodedge, The white hair, the tattoos on their chests, their connections to vampires, both have sisters named Saya.)

Maybe Jubei will have Street Fighter X Tekken Toro and Kuro's Hitbox (They are microscopic compared to the other characters, and only a few standing attacks can reach them. It would be really annoying for gamers used to a normal Hitbox if Jubei had the same Hitbox as Toro and Kuro's because some combos for BlazBlue do need a standing attack I believe)
+Makanouchi Ippo He's like a cat Kliff. And given how obsessed Arcsys is with giving characters gimmicks, and with how Blazblue's system works, they have to give Jubei a drive that makes him stand out and not feel redundant with Tao.
Plus, with a roster of 30+ characters, I fear that they're running out of Drive ideas to make characters unique. That, and Japan wants Moe girls (like Mai) than badass old men. Sorry, Old timer. But maybe....
