    The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another historic tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. Look out for highlights, extended highlights, full matches, press conferences, on-court interviews, hot shots, compilations and more!

      Djokovic was disqualified here, and was not allowed to play for 2 years. He didn't get the points when winning Wimbledon. He was tested right after winning AO this year, he didn't even had the chance to celebrate or rest properly. Without a doubt they would get him suspended in the blink of an eye.

    • @m85auser94
      @m85auser94 Před 9 měsíci +3

      You look at things very superficially and your doubts have no real basis. Novak does not do anything that is not allowed in tennis, he has the right to take a break like any other player, because he goes to the toilet to urinate or simply to break the opponent's rhythm, after all. Stories about some kind of doping in that way simply have no relation to reality. Do you really think he wouldn't have been found out by now if he was taking illegal substances? Anti-doping control at every GS and ATP tour has the right to enter them from early in the morning at 5 am with a test order, that is common knowledge. Get informed.
      And as for Nadal, well, if we are going to talk about some kind of doping, we have real doubts about him. How many times before the majority did GS claim that he was injured and until the very end of the term kept it in doubt whether he would play at all even at the end of the term sign up for the tournament and dominate it and win, and don't even mention the injury. With reason, some thought that he was using the time to see if he would be able to clean his body of the "substances" that he potentially used during training. Plus what's happening to him now because his knees couldn't keep up with his rhythm. This is usually the case with athletes who dope, some part of the body has to show it. It doesn't necessarily mean, but the doubt is there.

      You must be new to tennis if you think no other player has ever taken a toilet break. ATP rules state: "A player is entitled
      to two (2) toilet breaks during a best of five set match". Try drinking fluids for hours and see if you can make it without going to the toilet. If you want to cry about fairness, go watch the extended break Nadal took during the 2014 Australian Open final. He got booed for that. Or, the 7-minute toilet break he took after losing the 2nd set of the 2021 French Open semi-final. Even the commentators said it wasn't on. Or, the 10-minute break he took when he was losing to Tiafoe at last year's US Open. You Novak haters have selective memories.

    Ever since long toilet breaks and medical time-out were allowed, tennis was never the same again. These tactics were used to disrupt the opponent's energy level and momentum. This is cheating psychologically. Spirit is energy, once disrupted and broken, errors set in. Watch from third set onwards, hth did Novak's energy level suddenly surged like a 26 yo just started playing his first set? Poor Djere, he was clearly on his way to victory if not for this psychological cheating and popping in of whatever substance to boost energy.
