I unfortunately assumed the standard base comes with the special edition figure as when looking at the accessories for it the standard base was still advertised as being included. I’ve paid for the figure in full now as I got the email that it was arriving early in hopes to speed up the process of receiving it. Regretting my decision.

As crazy as it sounds…the new head articulation really makes the figure for me. That head tilt is SO Deadpool…if that makes sense lol. I can’t wait for mine. This is my first Deadpool figure
I was completely shocked when you showed the underside of the base. That is unacceptable for something that needs to be stable enough to hold up a figure in a dynamic pose. And once again, Hot Toys needs to include all standard accessories in a deluxe release, including the regular base!
Yet they claim to be handcrafted. Handcrafted doesn't equate to high quality. Just means it was handcrafted. These figures are way too delicate for 300 Dollars. And there excuse to charge people this much is that they are handcrafted. Sure handcrafted should be worth more but not so much more especially when quality isn't top tier.
I don't think Hot Toys can give us a headsculpt. No Deadpool collectibles, not even Marvel Legends, have had a unmasked sculpt. I don't think Ryan Reynolds is allowing it to happen.
Crazy that hot toys had their figure ready for the film and Hasbro won’t have theirs out for a couple months. It’s usually the other way around with an even longer wait for the hot toys.
Fun fact, Sideshow updated the release window for this guy, from August-December of this year so looks like the wait won't be as long as Wolverine! Thank you for sharing! Excited to get mine!

This Deadpool and both of the new wolverines have to be some of the most beautiful hot toys I’ve ever seen. They really went all out for these figures and I love it.
I ordered the special addition for the gold guns because I like how they match the gold on the katanas. I love the bright red of his suit. The color makes the character look like he jumped out of the comic book and into the real world. All the different accessories are awesome! 😃 You could never get bored with this figure. After a couple months, you can display him completely different with a totally different expression.
I got back from my vacation for three things to have happened while I'm gone- One Mr. Beast got cancelled. Two Deadpool & Wolverine, which I liked, went from being hated by critics to be loved by the audience, three, Justin uploads A BANGER 40 MINUTE VIDEO. ON DEADPOOL

The situation is pretty insane. Of course you don’t care about all the allegations if you are a kid like the bulk of his audience, but these are serious claims.
You’re right he only uses the gold deagles for a few minutes in the movie, but they’re his now. If you see at the post credit scene he still has the gold deagles in his holsters.

Imagine this guy in 1/4 scale my god it would look so good. Also the tiny daggers could’ve been separate hands if they really tried but with the number of accessories he comes with it’s almost forgivable.
I believe hot toys drop the ball on this release abit. Hear me out 1. No unmask sculpt. 2. Instead of golden guns, should've been wolverine claws deadpool wore in the movie. 3. Babypool doesn't come with Katana blades which was in the movie. 4. No standard base to stand on.

This is the first Deadpool I’ve ordered. Never been a fan of the character but loved the films. This figure is so damn nice, and the movie is fantastic to me, can’t wait for it
Interesting that yours does not contain both stands, because the Side Show “Special Edition” (with gold guns & special stand) shows the standard stand included (unless it’s a photo misprint). I prefer the regular Deadpool stand since it matches the Wolverine stand, so I’m getting the “Collectors Edition” Deadpool to make sure I get it. I couldn’t care less about the “gold guns”.
I was very surprised when I received a notification that Deadpool was arriving a year before the original date, glad hot toys did that, sometimes when there is too much time between the movie and the figure release I end up cancelling some figures, but I don’t think that will be the case with this Deadpool as he is one of my favorite marvel characters and also he will be my first hot toys Deadpool in the collection, not sure why hot toys didn’t include Ryan Reynolds headsculpt, that would made this release so much solid, can’t wait to get mine

Nice touch considering Wolverine, deadpool and Ryan Reynolds’s are Canadian! As a Canadian myself I am proud on the other hand very sad we Canadians don’t have the option for the special edition so ironically no Canadian pistols for Canadians 😅
Well…just pre-ordered the regular version without the gold pistols as they are not important to me as I prefer the black guns…and Sideshow already sold out of the Special Edition. I had a lot of reward points so I threw them on the regular edition…I am still going to be very happy…and I like the original base much better. If the gold guns are available later on eBay for an affordable price I may grab them…but not having them included is definitely not a deal breaker. I also have the Hot Toys Wolverine on pre-order and these two Hot Toys figures are going to look amazing displayed next to each other. I have not even seen the movie yet but the figures are absolutely beautiful. 😎 Okay I am not going to lie I really wished I would not have missed out on the special edition…but at least I am getting a base I like far better…I’ll keep my eyes open on eBay as I am sure sellers will be selling the gold pistols in the future. :) …but my God this is a beautiful Hot Toys figure. :)
