How very sad that back in the day we took these aircraft for granted and thought they would never be gone. Thank you Jonah, for taking the time to document what's left of these airplanes.
I thought the same thing as a kid, there were so many of them.. now look at it.. it’s sad!
Great video. Glad the Boeing 727 is still flying after all of these years...
Thank you! & yes, both USA Jet 727’s are currently active. N726US & N727US. 726 just had a new paint scheme added to her and 727 is currently getting repainted. With that being said, they both have a good handful of years left in them since they’re being repainted
@@jonahair747 Yeah let's hope so. I heard a documentary once, saying that as long as the maintenance is being done on all planes of the past that the planes would last quite a few more years than they did.. Thanks!
I'm just pissed I never got to see a 727's flaps in person. Ok that's a lie, the one at the Boeing museum.
I didn’t know they have them down at the museum
Do they still fly Dc-9s??
No, they retired their DC-9’s in early 2023. This footage was found buried in my computer that I found not too long ago. I still have a handful of videos that will be uploaded soon.
@@jonahair747 Man that sucks at least they still fly 727s. 👍🏻
