What is great about Rory Bremner, along with the stunning and easy accuracy of his impressions is that he is also a very educational impressionist in the way he slips into his impressions what he thinks of these politicians, and where he points out that they are all liars and charlatans these days. In America a study has been carried out into this, and it has been discovered that the way most Americans find out which side of the political divide their politicians were REALLY on, was and is, via the comedians. The American comedians I am talking about are the likes of Stephen Colbert, Seth Myers and some of their late night talk show hosts. I think, for Rory, and this is where I agree with him, in Britain the political fraudsters started with Tony Blair, and that has now become normalised and a new normal. There are 1 or 2 who are honest about the politics they stand for, and they usually come from the left, in my opinion. I also love the way that Rory always seems to do a lot of very thorough research into both the people he is going to do impressions of, and the subject he is talking about. So, an example of that was that he wrote about the REAL facts about people on social security. Of course, he does not do all this on his own, he has researchers and others do a lot of that kind of behind the scenes work for him, and Rory, himself would be the first to acknowledge that fact. So, I think we need more of Rory Bremner right now, please.
