1:40 So basically the difference between both is that the older one was a Parallel Hybrid and the Newer one is Serial Hybrid.
Parallel Hybrid system can drive without starting engine white Serial as its name suggests is connected to the drivetrain in serial with the engine so it can only assist the engine but can't drive the car alone by itself.
Serial Hybrid systems are simpler, cheaper to produce and easier to maintain. Suzuki has that system incorporated in its “micro hybrid” cars. If I say in very very simple words, it's a beefed-up Electric starter and Alternator in one and that is not a negative point.
Parallel Hybrid systems were used in Toyota's Camry.
And in my opinion they are not as cool as the Parallel Hybrid systems but they are More Reliable and Practical for common consumers.
Recently maruti removed the micro hybrid from brezza ..

Paraller hybrid is more expensive .. For its battery size big brand used for performance but normal hybrid is good for us especially in diesal.. 👍

it not a new system it called mind hybrid but where we use this stuff. But generally car manufacturers replace flywheel with electric motor but toyota use the original mind hybrid system hopefully you pin in it.
