Ill always have a soft spot for OGD Bonded, IMO its one of the best values in bourbon for cocktails.

First time I heard the term vertical tasting. I like it!
I thought I didn’t like high rye whiskies but I’m a big fan of this 114.

Enjoyed this comparison. It kind of seemed like you preferred the 80 your first time thru and then talked yourself into picking the 114 in the end.
On a fun note, i always thought the term "neck pour" meant something else until i saw your finale. Wow, i hope that was your last shoot of the day 🙂
Can’t wait for the 16 year version. You should try the 80 proof OGD next to Basil Hayden, it’s the same mash bill but has a lower still strength and barreling strength.

Does 114 just mean 114 proof? (57% x 2 - 114) Could it be that simple?
Yup, but I mean... is there more significance? Like Old Line 87... or Wild Turkey 101. There was a reason behind the number

I agree. I like to review lower priced stuff. Helps people into the hobby. I've been trying to figure out why my views are a quarter of what they were two years ago.
Seems like if I'm not doing a "Top 5 bourbons whoever bourboned" then people don't watch
