super sick, very informative. thank you for being so clean and clear with your steps, audio etc. this was an amazing video!
Thank you for this necessary tutorial, I was looking for this exactly!
I want to say, I appreciate this video simply because of the model. It's so hard to find black edits and editing (even though Now I know how to do it myself) it's a struggle. So thanks for this as it helps because I always have to edit oily skin and mess up the image so I leave the shine many of the times.
Happy for this video too đ
Thank you so much Brendan for the helpful tutorial! God bless you and good luck!
This was so simple and worked GREAT! Thank you.
Short and to the point!! Thanks so much!!!
Magic!! Thank you!! â€
I just watched and applied your techniques. It saved a great photo that I would have otherwise deleted.
This was really helpful. I don't use Photoshop (I use Pixelmator Pro) but I was able to follow the same steps and it worked!
Thank you so much !! It's amazing ! Your video is very clear !! Thank you =))))
nice and easy and effective. Thank you.
Thank you!! Your help saved a very special portrait :)
Interesting. I have been using multiply + blend all the time
Wow, very to the point and with instructions which if we follow, we will get the same results more or less! Thank you : )
This was really helpful on a client portrait I'm using in a billboard design. I appreciate the quick tutorial and to the point video. [:

Your technique is simple.
Most others tutorial follow complex commands difficult to remember the sequence of the commands and works not too good.
One additional thing. On the first duplicate layer, change the blending mode to "Darken." This will prevent getting the skin tone on the darker eyebrows and hair (if the eyebrows and hair are darker than the skin--which is the case in this video).
Thank you so much!
Thank u! Can i use this trick as well with clothes?
Thanks!
Thx
It has a more easy solution. Take a blank layer take stamp tool less flow 10-5% opacity take a sample and paint and see the results
As a professional photo retoucher i am using this easy method regularly
Thank you đ
won`t this smooth out the skin texture a bit when you don`t use a Frequenzy Separation process? Clear and good instructions in the video though, so good job. But still wonder if this is the best method, yet easy of course.
I wouldnt suggest doing this over someones entire face. It would make the texture look weird, but for oily areas it does a quick and easy job that I think still looks good when painting with a low enough opacity and flow. Definitely a good pairing with frequency separation!
@@BrendanWilliamsTutorials thanks for the reply đ
Wow, you need to tag it as tips and promote this video into shorts everywhere so that people can know
I hate shorts, because there's no option to add them to the playlists
Fair idea! I will consider adding it to a shorts recording list for the future.
I also prefer long form but shorts can be useful for quick wins for viewers when paired with a longer video IMO
@@BrendanWilliamsTutorials How ever you going to them this video is Internet Breaker
@@ivan_12345 yes you can. You go to history and add it to your playlist. Where you see the dots beside the video in your history. Tap on it and then it will show add to playlist. I just saw it
what version of photoshop are you using
