- I'm posting this on CHRISTMAS EVE which is technically the only day this prayer can be taught to other people. Therefore, I figure that it doesn't matter what day you watch it on, because it was uploaded on the correct day.
If you can understand what Nonna is saying and you can type/write in Calabresi, please put the translation in the comments so I can add subtitles to it all later!
Amen.
3 goccie di olio in acqua:
e c furi l'occhio aturi e c furi i cremensuri, padre figlio spirito santo.
santa rosalia di fontanavia, passa naronna cu na mala scottatura, erba seccan, ogni canto del canto.
padre figlio spirito santo
padro figlio spirito santo
lunedì è santo, martedì è santo, mercoledì è santo, giovedì è santo, venere è santo, sabato è santo, domenica e pasqua , x2 ogni malocchio in terra casca.
Thank you very very much
Thank you sooooo much for this!
Ciao, cosa vuol dire in italiano "e c furi l'occhio aturi e c furi i cremensuri"?
This is what they mean when they say your grandmothers prayers are still protecting you.
What a great nonna, May God bless her and your family. Thank you for this video🙏
thank you for sharing this. there's so much magic in this little ritual for the holiday. no one does this better for you than someone who loves you unconditionally . so powerful to watch.
I believe she’s saying the creed in the beginning.
Padre Figlio e Spirito Santo. AMEN
Notes she is smiling and looks she is getting better
Grazie!
Thank you for uploading this. What does nonna have in the pitcher? Can you remove an evil eye from yourself?
It’s just water in the jug. You can remove it from yourself by doing this over an item of your clothing
My Dad's from Calabria a town is Careri 😊
What is your nonna saying at the end and showing you in the bowl?
Hi Melissa... Aside from the evil eye being removed, we might be related? If so I would like to be in touch to take notes and see if we are through our parents, husbands etc. Thank you Lucille Carling

lol so dumb
Italy has radicated traditions and rituals in every single region and town since millennias, and they all survived the test of time being shared from family to family. Only because you can't understand it, it doesn't mean it's dumb, but maybe it might mean you're just ignorant in the true meaning of the term
