Firstly, great pod. Enjoyed the discussions with Irene and Neha. They provided some amazing insights and perspectives. You guys should collab more often so we can get such great content. Also I'm from India where the sport is growing very rapidly, so seeing someone from our heritage gives a great feeling. Thanks for making me aware about them.
22:32 this one has been discussed a lot at a lot of podcasts. But as I have come to understand it, the redbull car isn't built to favor max, its built to go as fast as possible, and is made even faster as the season goes on. The engineers work towards wringing as much pace out of the concept as much as possible. The problem is, as a car goes faster, it sensitive to movements and becomes difficult to drive (an analogy is try to use your PC's mouse with sensitivity upto a 100. Things quickly go out of control). But max is talented to such an ungodly amount that he is able to control such a car (he's literally taming the bull 😉) whereas all his teammates have a hard time as the season goes on. That's what Pierre and Albon struggled with, and possibly what checo is struggling with. I could be completely wrong with this one, but max being max is what I've heard makes all the difference.

The reason you dont open the door/window in a house fire is because the fire will burn up all the oxygen so introducing more oxygen will make it worse and if the fire has already burned up all the oxygen and you introduce new oxygen it will basically cause an explosion

What about Magic in Monaco?
One thing I will say about Haas is they buy as much as possible from Ferrari so the fact that they have done could be caused by ferrari's step up !
I think that Logan is a good sign that being signed just because you can bring in enough money and are in an attractive marketing country is a bad indicator for succes. If that is how you came into your seat you should not be surprised if you do not get the max performance from a car and become kind of a laughing stock driver.

Not that I think Max ever takes anything for granted, but this race maybe solidified the fact he's gonna have to fight a bit harder than he's had to recently - something he'll probably relish.
Also, for all the time we spend shitting on Lance Stroll we gotta give him some credit where it's due for a solid P9. Although, I guess even a broken clock tells the right time twice a day. 😬
