The CW version actually sometimes does stop before the tunnel depending on the train in front of it.

Kings Dominion's Backlot Stunt Coaster does have fire and gunshot effects, but the blade doesn't usually spin on the helicopter. The effects are also sometimes turned off, but not when I visit for some reason.

Yeah now they are working now and then I’ve been there 2 weeks in a row and it just depends on the ride, but it’s getting better.
