About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies.

Atomic Grape taste amazing, but I've only had three that haven't cracked open on the vine so far this year. :( My Black and Green Vern tomatoes are doing great right next to the Atomic Grapes, so not sure what's going on - especially after Shannon said they should be very crack resistant.

tomatoes are the best! As kids, we would pick them warm and fresh from the vine, just wash it off with the hose, salt a bit and chomp! we would have the juice from the tomato dribble down our chins and we didn't care. Tomatoes always make me smile, mostly because of an incident my parents had learning about just how acid the tomatoes were and how too many at one time could cause a problem for the body. It was a funny story and we kids always remember just to eat one or two, no more at a time.

  • @xljimmy89

I heard I think Craig LeHoullier say that acidity don't change but the difference is the sugar content that changes the acidy taste.
