This lens is INSANE! 😮‍💨 DZOFilm Pavo 65mm Macro Anamorphic - Sample Shots

Thanks to DZOFILM I had the opportunity to test their newly introduced 65mm macro anamorphic lens and tbh I'm absolutely stunned by the quality of it.
Filmed on my RED V-Raptor in 8K 6:5 2x Anamorphic Mode. With this setup I almost had no issues with vignetting.

Wow I love the balance this lens has between being too clean/too soft. Amazing job with focus....Did you pull focus by hand or have an AC? Also love the colour job you did with this. Did you use a base LUT for this or just manual adjustments in DaVinci?

Sind mega Optiken. Hatten wir im Dezember bei einem Projekt benutzt und es war echt beeindruckend wie die performen. Vor allem für den vergleichsweise geringen Preis

Thank you! Well the mode I shot in was the 8k 6:5 anamorphic mode, which crops the vista vision sensor from left and right. So I didn’t shoot the full width and probably more like a little larger than S35 sensor width. When shooting full frame you will have a vignette.

Sorry, but I hate the look of anamorphic lenses. The distorted bokeh balls just look awful in my opinion.
