See, this is the one problem I had with the reworked Aladdin. Jafar keeps trying to justify himself. Jafar is supposed to be unrepentant and hammy and take joy in everything he's doing. He's just not fun in the new one.

Between Momo pulling a sword out of her chest, Todoroki's smile, Izuku's eyes, and Bakugou being the first one to tell Momo that they were ready to beat some sense into Izuku this was one of, if not THE, absolute best versions of this I've seen.

I just like the way that this portray Momo having an internal conflict before speaking up, Todoroki and Jirou being proud of her for stepping up and Bakugo just wanting to punch Deku back to his senses. Then there's Ochako and All Might trying to find another way to save Deku without having to fight him. I'm in love ❣️

I LOVE HOW THE fandom decided that villain Izuku wears a simple shirt with a vest and a necktie, and sometimes a long winter jacket. Like, that's his wardrobe in every animatic (aside from the middle school uniform in some of them).

@@Davys_Stories well, it's been 2 years since I wrote that comment so I am not 100% sure why I wrote "characters" in plural. Either I saw something that wasn't there or there really are multiple characters from the movies that I just don't see now. The tied up girl with the glasses in the beginning of the video is from one of the movies tho. Her name is Melissa and she's quirkless. Not gonna say anything else about her because it might be spoilers. Everyone else seems to be wearing their outfits from one of the movies too. Like dresses and suits.
I really love the way that you've used this song. It takes Izuku in a direction that I haven't seen before in these villain videos. He seems so resigned and desperate to make something happen, and even though it's clear that he's a villain, he doesn't seem to be 'evil'. In the original song, Varian has a single-minded focus to save his father, and I can't help but wonder if Inko is in a similar situation during this animatic. All in all, it makes me really wish someone made a fanfic to accompany this.
