No Yoshi is the true easy mode because he’s invincible like Nabbit but he has a flutter jump.
@@dani-boy6420 sure but nabbit can just go through enemies without caring while yoshi still gets staggered if he touches an enemy and that could for example make him fall if there’s a pit nearby, but yoshi is surely better and easier in precise platforming,ig they both have their ups and down but I just wish they weren’t easy mode

@@mallow4460 you can see when he gets crushed by the new twomps (bomp I think) his figure has the same visual effect of when you’re hit but he just keeps walking

YESSS!! The 2nd time I watched the direct, I noticed something was off about Yoshi's design, and realized he looks a lot like how he used to in his original artwork back on the SNES like Super Mario World and Yoshi.
The easy mode on Yoshi and Nabbit should be an option
I really wanted to play as Yoshi but because he takes no damage, I'll probably continue with my 2D Mario Bros main (Toad)
I'm pretty sure in all of the mainline Mario games and Yoshi games (excluding Super Mario Run, Mario 64 ds, Yoshi's Story, Wolly World and Crafted World ) Yoshi was virtually invincible, because in Yoshi's Island when you take damage Yoshi just gets stunned for a few seconds and baby Mario gets put in a bubble then a timer starts counting down. The only way Yoshi can take damage and die is from hazards such as bottomless pits, spikes, getting eaten, lava and getting crushed. Soo, I guess they wanted Yoshi to act like he did in Yoshi's Island, but without baby Mario and the ability to lay eggs to use them as an attack.
Am I the only one who finds it strange how the narrator tries to impersonate Daisy’s voice when she introduces her? And it also doesn’t work. But I love how it was included anyway.

In 2019 we were angry that Yellow Toad wasn't in Mario Maker 2. The community really loves both of the toads

Edit: it seems that some people overreacted at my opinion. So, just because some specific characters that I wanted aren't in the game, doesn't mean I'll hate it. SMBWonder still looks wonderful and I'll play it anyways! (there we go comment section, happy now? Jeez...)

I'll accept Nabbit as the closest Character we'll get to Wario and Waluigi in this game. He's a rogue clad in purple with a sack of stolen goods, who I expected to be an enemy of Mario and Friends, but joined their side against Bowser and The Koopa Troop.

Hopefully we get characters such as Wario, Waluigi, Rosalina, Pauline, Donkey Kong, etc as DLC. I wouldn't count on Rosalina fully since she didn't appear in games such as Super Mario Odyssey and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, even with the rumors that she would appear in a post-credits scene.

After seeing Fire Donkey Kong in The Super Mario Bros Movie I'd kill to see DK in this game! Although I can't imagine what an Elephant Donkey Kong would look like!

Yes they did it! They confirmed Toadette playable! Thank you very much Nintendo for not leaving it out! Toadette is my number 1 in the Mario saga, now this game is perfect

I've just noticed that there's a random button on the character select screen. I like little additions like that. Sometimes I might just select that when I'm not sure who to play as. "Oh ok, I'll be Peach this time!"
Even Mario Kart 8 didn't have a random button for the customisable karts, and that always bugged me.

This does mark the first time we see Peach Playable in a 2d mario game with with controls from traditional mario games, and when i mean by traditional, I mean like the power ups, enemy stomping, ? Blocks, and world map like in SMB1, SMB3, SMW, the Super Mario Land Games, and even the New super mario bros. games.

I've thought of a new Mario game they should make: Super Mario Rocks! And here's how it works:
Princess Peach prepares for her rock n roll concert in the Mushroom Kingdom but Bowser kidnapps her and forces her to play for him. Now Mario must go in a musical journey to save Peach. Collecting magical music notes and musical power-ups along the way.
Sounds fun but i def dont want to see kidnapped peach again that soon 😭
