jcb 3cx 1989 sitemaster grey cab

This machine looks totally original, even the paintwork. Drove machines same as this in the 80s and 90s on sites in Dublin.Dug the foundations filled the floors,sewer and storm connections driveways and topsoiling the gardens.All done with a 3cx. The Grey cabs had a Perkins phaser engine and twin hydraulic pumps and were a lot better than the Perkins 236 engined black cabs.
Nowadays nobody uses these machines on large sites anymore
Minidiggers and dumpers are used instead.Very frustrating to see this sometimes. A lot of contractors don't see any benefits running a backhoe and a good operator.

I luv watching these old girls at work, good old grey cab model , Jcb were getting it right when they got to project 7 , I’ve just been and picked up a 88 P7 in great order got a bit of cab refurb to do but other than that she s good , really enjoy the days I use it , great vid , may a walk around vid would be great many thanks 👍

hello i have a 1988 model jcb it looks just like this it doesn't have a front grille the plastic part that says jcb where can i get it?
