    Have learnt a different method of doing asaana today.my mum is a togolese.she doesn't grind the maize soo fine.She grinds it coarsely. Again,she doesn't add the fermented juice to the caramelized sugar on fire. She adds it off fire.kudos to you Fafa.love u

      Thanks for watching however the flour was coarse and not fine. (It might be too fine to your liking ). The heat was turned off as I stated before adding the remaining fermented juice.

    Eiii! Where are our food scientists? This is an exportable commodity ooo...if only it could be well packaged for a reasonable shelf life. How I wish I could drink some of yours through my laptop screen lol. Much respect to all the aliha makers/vendors in Gh, and thank you, davi Fafa, for sharing!

    I tried your method and it came out sooo perfectly. I've tried other recipes and I ended up with brown koko🤣🤣🤣🤣.

      Hahahahaha, but this brown koko is another kind. They put in a lot of ice cubes to lighten it and, then they add more sugar.

      It does require a lot of time in germinating the corn unfortunately. Apart from that it’s a straightforward drink.

      I'm Kenyan...This Ghanian videos got me thinking how diverse and rich African dishes can be especially Ghanian....
