One of my all time favorites, a real individual melding of styles. They broke thru to the mainstream later with a more streamlined and produced style with What I Got, still great if a bit sanitized. RIP Bradley, wish you could've stuck around.

Even before Lou, the band took a clip from a song by the Minutemen, an influential band from San Pedro, not far from Long Beach where Sublime was from. The Minutement were awesome, and Mike Watt, the bassist, went on to do collaborations with a ton of other musicians.

Lily J I have been all over Cali from SD up to the Bay Area. I spent lots of years truck driving but have vacation there lots as well. Ive been to the Plaza as well. PHX definitely celebrates its Mex/chicano culture. LA is obviously alot bigger with a longer history so its not on the size of LA but between festivals and the lowrider community...its def in PHX.

The lead singer Bradley passed away back in the 90s but a singer named Rome has brought the band back. They are like what sublime would've been 20 30 years later. Please check out sublime with Rome too. 🤙👍🔥🔥. Love all the content you put out.
