Of course there are people who like this kind of video. But credibility suffers when you do this. If you want to be the best you have to resist the urge to go negative. You may get an initial bump from a certain demographic but you put yourself in a box that has a low ceiling and brief shelf life. If you edited out all the derogatory remarks you might bring a lot of people over the wall into your camp and have a succinct video that opens up a dialog but instead you bring interesting arguments to the table but leave an impression of jealousy and insecurity. You’ve outed yourself, revealed your face, became more legit. Take the next step and become professional. You can do this. Happy new year, Dad

Perhaps true to some extent, but then where’s the fun? 90% of all reviewers are eager to please, corporatized sycophants who follow the crowd. Sharur’s are rare. When someone like him comes along, learn to appreciate him for what he is and hope he never changes. He keeps everyone honest, if nothing else. Every community and ecosystem needs a few like him. Look at HBB, dude went tame and lame since he found his fame. Good on him, but it would be a bloody shame if Sharur followed that game.

Hey man how do Focal headphones measure? I really like the sound of them but I’m just curious as I’m unable to see frequency response graphs as I’m blind. I owned them and really enjoyed their sound profile but not necessarily sure if they’re particularly accurate.

Can you give me some kind of exclamation? Have used several pairs of studio monitors throughout my life when mixing music and they sound quite similar. I’m talking about the open back to you. The close backs definitely don’t sound flat but they sound detailed, engaging and dynamic. They sound much better than any other headphones I’ve used before and don’t get me wrong I’m not defending them by any means I’m just curious.

I did however notice a lack of subbase and used EQ to rectify that. This hobby is kind of weird though.Going back to what I was talking about earlier with close backs.I have the Stellea which I know doesn’t sound accurate and I would never use it for monitoring or mixing but I love the way music sounds with the headphones. It makes things sound engaging, lively, fun and detailed. It has great separation and layering and it’s really dynamic. Thanks for the exclamation though dude.

Yeah but that is doesnt mean only by you, Chris Struck, Moller and more people define this so time ago, the only “new” thing is change in the bass that is more in the room modes and reflectivity on the room if the subwoofer doesnt have an increase bass shelf IMO, for example Floy Toole and Moller have define not recommended bass shelf based on that room effect, remember that the bass shelf is preffered by listeners and all the things that we discuss so time ago based on the eardrum under exercution, etc etc, so, yeah, headphone show is kinda slow with this release but you doesnt define that, you only make the video from the papers.
And NO this isnt an attack or some hate thing, i think youre pretty cool making better videos now, but I can recommend you to make it more learning that reviewing other people stuff
what does eardrum have to do with this also the point is not that I invented diffuse field but that I was already using this method long ago and was called a troll by their group.
