    George Best is probably the best sportsman to come from N. Ireland. He was an absolute Legend. Naturally gifted.

      @@Libzalii The amount of people who say that. He was unbelievable. Left foot, right foot, dribble, tackle, scored goals, and played in an era when tackling was accepted. Not to mention the standards of some of the pitches he played on.

    Most fascinating city in modern day history is Belfast With The Troubles & sporting greats . Shame they never made part of the maze prison into some kind of museum. Oh and the people are so friendly & the Guinness not bad too .

    Love seeing the likes of this happen where I live East Belfast is a beautiful place with such history and the of course home of such greats the super cup final being held in Belfast wouldn't of been a thing 10/15 years ago shows that we are going in the right direction and also its nice to remind the English that the best player the world has seen came from good old northern Ireland

    He was a good friend and running buddy to Phil Lynette of Thin Lizzy. He even wrote For Those Who Love to Live about him

    George Best is so overrated by the British he’s often referred as ‘the greatest of all time’ he couldn’t pass the ball, he wasn’t a great Goalscorer, and he was very selfish. Bobby Chartlon and Denis law used to get frustrated at Best for not passing the ball, he would often loose the ball to many times! I have seen many games of Best and he wasn’t at the level people said about him!

      Folks, please ignore this guy Hussein I've seen him post this same thing about George Best for the past year he's either a troll or doesn't understand the game of football I grew up in Belfast and I think Maradona is the greatest but even he would place George Best alongside himself just like Pele who even said he was better.
