In the Philippines, MSG is ubiquitous in people's kitchens, widely used. In Manila on weekends my friends and I convoyed to Tagaytay to picnic and also to buy fresh produce and freshly butchered MEAT. We discovered that those meat from free roaming animals, chicken, beef , mutton, pork were delicious without MSG. But cooking techniques matter a lot.
