One of the best if not the best USA team ever to perform on the WC. They got unlucky facing the more experienced Germany in the quarters and losing a by narrow lucky goal 1-0. This team deserved to reach the semis. they showed that had USA actually cared for this sport they would have been among the greats.
But with the new squad (Christian Pulisic, Weston Mckennie, Sergino Dest, Josh Sargent, Tyler Adams, Gio Reyna, Tyler Boyd and Wil Trapp) looks promising

Easily the best, no other USA team got to the quarter finals, and they could have easily equalized if they had gotten the penalty that wasn’t given.

One of the greatest memories in my life. I've been a USMNT fan since '89. And would always get bashed at because of my Mexican heritage and a die hard US fan. But being born in the US and watching the US time and time again being beat by Mexico I eventually went for the underdog! Seeing this team grow with time has been an awesome experience for me! Donovan.... My all time favorite player. And now Pulisic!

With the batch of players the team has right now, they can be a force to be reckoned with if they play more games together and build chemistry. The nations league showed that the team can be dangerous but they need to play more together to build that connection. Let’s see how they do in the qualifiers and when they play bigger teams.

Fue un partido mal planeado por Aguirre, pensó que le iban a ganar seguro a los USA, pero el sorprendido fue él.
Los USA eran un equipo que jugaba excelentemente bien cuando iba arriba en el marcador, eso se vio cuando le ganaron a Portugal, tácticamente era jugarle como lo hizo Lapuente en la Confederaciones de 1999, por eso fue que catalogo esa derrota como "fracasototote".
