Playing with 100 year old hickory shafted clubs
This was my very first round with these new (to me... obviously they're very old) clubs sold to me by Jacob Orcutt, co-founder of the Connecticut Hickory Golf Association along with a few clubs I've collected lately.
I decided to play this round without the aid of my laser rangefinder or GPS in order to make the experience as unfettered as possible. Sure, my score was pretty bad, but I enjoyed every minute of this inaugural round and am excited to play lots more "hickory golf".
