I love how she pointed out growing up in that transitional period between the tape/cd/dial-up era and the wifi/social media/diy era. I truly identify with that. I loved Ella’s first album and Not Another Love song, and Surface on the Mustard album. Can’t wait to hear this one.

What Ella Mai said about turning 25 is so true! When I was younger, I also thought that I'd have everything I want by this age, but as I'm literally turning 25 tomorrow when Ella drops her sophomore album which I'm looking forward to almost more than my actual birthday, I realize that I still have a lot to learn despite having learned so much already. I'm still young. Of course, I'm wiser, older, and more emotionally intelligent than I have ever been before, but there is still a long way to go.
I got a feeling that Heart On My Sleeve will definitely find its place in my heart, especially since it drops on my birthday.

Its frustrating as a R&B fan that the Breakfast club is so out of touch with what's truly goin on with R&B. Envy asks the same typical basic and surface r&b questions, they don't dig into their catalog and assumes a big single is only thing an artist is known for or expected to attain. Ella mai has a bunch of great catalog and records! Not another love song was a smash and charted well, why cthagod asking what that song is about almost 2 yrs later since its release? DFMU,Leave You Alone are all Great songs so far
