the Thunder is GREAT! very powerful machine. the on-road tires are nice but not very durable for Wayne Co. road conditions. Michigan has the worst roads in the nation, so i'm going to use an all-terrain tire to avoid any more flat tires.
@@futureghost6932 that's funny. I was born in Dearborn Michigan. Last time I was up there was around 30 years ago. The roads were horrible back then I can just imagine how bad they are now.
yes, the roads are pretty much the same as 30 yrs ago. I got a flat tire after 3 hrs of riding! I've switched to an all terrain tire, much better for the Detroit area. I'm going to upload a video showing the new tires.

i own the "Dualtron Thunder" and i believe that it would be a good fit for you. The suspension is very good, and it has a ton of power. You won't be disappointed. I took my first ride of the year today on my Thunder and i am still amazed by how fast this thing goes! 44mph
This thing looks like a beast. I don't like the quality of the shocks they're using. I promise you this machine will be over $5,000 easily. For that kind of money they should have adjustable air shocks on them. the location of the rear one is right where you put your foot when accelerating. I'm sure this thing has a shitload of torque. If you're going to locate the shock where it's at at least have a foot plate that goes up above it so you don't find yourself stepping on that shock. Machines like this are really pushing the boundaries of what is an electric Kick Scooter. I'm sure it has to weigh at least 100 to 120 pounds.
i agree, and this should have a few more features for the $$$$, seems like they overlooked putting on a horn, or a headlight light on the Ultra, Thunder and the 3. Thanks for watching! cheers!
@@futureghost6932 those type of folding bars are no good on a machine of this weight and Power. I have the same style on my Speedway IV Pro and they will become loose. After every ride or two I'm always having to adjust them.
yes, and the handlebars should be wider, at least 28" for better stability. I do like the folding aspect though, easy to get in and out of the house. How do you like your Speedway IV Pro? and what's your top speed?
@@futureghost6932 just going back to my recent replies and somehow I missed how you wanted to know if I like my Speedway IV Pro. I absolutely love it. I weigh a 185 lbs and I get it up to 30 miles per hour. The torque is not extreme for a 600 watt Hub motor but is very nice. With the 52 volt 26 amp LG battery the range is insane. I average anywhere between 50 to 60 miles. With the weight being around 50 lb it handles like a dream. For being mini motors more affordable line of scooters the speedway IV Pro build quality is top-notch. Love all the lights that are integrated into it. The deck design integrated lights and not one sharp edge on it I believe it is even better than the dualtron when it comes to that aspect. If anybody was interested in buying the speedway IV Pro you can't go wrong. Personally I would suggest buying the speedway 5 it comes with a single 800 w or dual 800 w. Personally I would go with the single 800w. That would give you a lot more torque a top speed of around 35 to 40 mile an hour and not affect the range as much as the dual motors considering it uses the same battery as the speedway IV Pro with the single 600 watt motor.
@@futureghost6932 oh and by the way I finally got the set screws just perfect on the folding bars they don't come loose anymore. I don't get to ride it as much as I like to but I am at around 600 miles on it so far. It took me almost 400 miles before I finally got the set screws just perfect. It came down to just adjusting them basically by the millimeter and Poppin the bars up where they were really tight and the sliding mechanism barely went all the way where it should be. Being that I never fold my bars down it doesn't matter to me how really tight they are to unfold.
Just got my Dualtron X few days ago, and I love it!
that's awesome! i am jealous!!!! cheers!!!!
I got a chance to review the Dualtron Thunder recently and it was really an impressive machine. I think I may have fallen in love with these scooters.

Poor design compared to the previous existing dualtron

- as big as an electric scooter
- too expensive
