- I finally got a new camera! Join me for one lap of the Nurburgring Nordschleife in a Toyota GR Supra.
Spec:
268hp 2.0ltr Turbo (stock power)
M-Diff (stock LSD)
18x10j Protrack Alloy wheels
Ohlins TTX custom application (work in progress)
GT4-spec rear camber and toe arms, plus other bits ;)
Bolt-in rollcage by Custom Cages UK and SME
Recaro Pole Position seats, with fittings by Speed-Engineering
Stock brakes with Motul RBF 660 fluid and Endless Pads

Nice lap Dale! It´s always good to see somebody laping the Nordschleife who knows how to handle it properly! So many words about the car but not one word about the new camera! Strange wide angle but very crisp and smooth footage! What´s that thing? I´m sorry I´missed the oportunity to whish you a belated happy birthday today!

Even if they did, it would make no sense as a rental car, which is such a shame.

Sooo many videos of cars turning up with 250000bhp but std pads/susp/tyres and zero experience
i would think to dial in some natural understeer, just put 235-245 in the front, to build in some "forgiveness" into the rear, maybe use narrower rims like 9-9.5"" for example, but what do i know!
These are all good suggestions, and for a mixed use car I would definitely do that. This is also what most manufacturers do. Stock Supra also has narrow front wheels. But I'm a commited racecar-ist, and I want a square setup for logistic reasons as well as feel.

As a Volvo owner I'd also wanna see a lap in your Volvo.
Volbo bubble is strong. Nomatter how much you mod a Volvo, it will always stay a very heavy, understeery pig with atrocious dstc. Those things are built for boring straight Swedish roads.
I don't think so. But this Z4 with engine from a mixer... is for sure everything but not a supercar.
I would say, come to Nordschleife with this boring thing, we will see how my 400hp+ daily works.
