Thanks for doing this. I watched the promo from AEScript when this was launched and, like so many of their launches was very confused about how this would work/what it would do! Pity they have to rely on outsiders to work it all out for them! Having seen this video they have a sale - you should be on commission!

Just start a 1st year in a vfx school and this help me to jump further in the program of the year lol. Rotoscoping can be very handy if you don't have enought blue or green screen

how does this compare to Davinci Resolve Roto? I Downloaded the trial and it doesn't compare to the built in roto in Davinci at all:( It just sat there. Davinci did it in seconds.

You need a good graphic card, 32 gb of ram+ for this to work quickly. 😅
you no need that my friend... i have 32 gb ram + 8 gb vcard + 4 gb vram and i am using this plugin.
I will test it on 4gb GPU, 64 gig ram today
64gb ram and rtx3080 still very slow . Beter use rotoscoping built-in

Just about to do a project that could use this... Great timing. Roto brush is fun, but "industry standard" it is not, despite the claims 😂

Good for simple rotos or quick shots where nothing is too complex, but the lack of refinement tools and almost oversimplicity of it makes it a deal breaker for any kind of professional work.
Exactly, the edges are unacceptable for any kinda serious work.
But what if u use it as premasking out and than do the rest by ur self? Is that possible?

I think AE's Roto Brush 3 is a major upgrade and for more serious work I d work with Boris Silhouette.
This is why I love davinci resolve! Its already built right into the software! Its called "magic mask"
This crashes my AE immediately after hitting play when something is selected. Maxed out Mac Studio.
Not quite the answer to a digital artist’s dream. This plugin, like “Goodbye Greenscreen” and Runway’s background removal tool are still in their infancy. As such all of these tools vary in their effectiveness. Common to all automated to semi-automated video background removal tools is the length of clip the removal works on, and the relative isolation of the object you wish to cut out.

i get an error message when attempting to open mask prompter....
It crashes for me 99% of the time making it unusable. But based off that 1% that I got to use it for I'd prefer it over roto brush...if it worked.

I purchased the mask prompter but couldn’t download on my Mac for some reason. Had to get refunded after several attempts with contact support. Send help
$50, come on man, every second there is some new "A.I tool" charging this same price, and not doing what you say it's supposed to be capable of.
typical..... perfect footages for rotobrush made for specially for this tutorial. This is not an usual real life situation.

This plug-in is too Resource demanding. My laptop and even my desktop always lags when I use it and I have to revert back to rotobrush😢

All of this great/cool AI thingies are geared to a single subject on front ...try several subjects like a band playing then is not so easy no more

Not good enough yet. These tools are easy and fast for slaps, but this utterly fails at pro level work. Unless you want to have you comps fail in QC over and over again, roto and TLC is what you need. Even when a shot is perfect looking, you will find that client side supervisors on big shows will ask for EVERY lost pixel. and when you think you have recovered every last detail, they will ask for more.

By our Law we are allowed to watch Movies/Streams Online free(burning series as example), Download and use Cracked content etc.
Only thing illegal would be to UPLOAD, but not to Download.

its great but its super RAM hungry.
The only thing that plugin is killing is my precious time. That mask is jittery AF. Not even worth testing it if that is the best you can do in a demo. It is a pass for me.

It's a pretty buggy plugin sadly which makes it inusable..

LIES ! Absolutly not accuracy. This plugins is a toys. RotoBrush is si much better final result.

go onto ae scripts and look at the plug in for yourself. its actually just drag over the object and it does the rest
