Good for the seller. Wonder if the buyer noticed the deck issues (beginning with it peeling up at 0:42)

Imworked on a Feretti back in the early 90's when they weren't exactly known for quality comtrol. The AC system leaking everywhere, electrical issues, and then literally an entire marble slab in the VIP shower fell off. That yacht was plagued with issues. Not the case anymore. They are really great looking yachts and the layout is nice. They ride extremely well and they are stable on the hook. The owner I worked for had a FERETTI 91' and he owned a Mangusta 103. One was for work trips and one was for family. He took clients out on the Mangusta and family on the Feretti. But then when the issues came, he was on the Mangusta for everything and they were not nice to their yachts. The crew hated being on the USS S.T.D as they called it. I won't say what he did for work, but I'm zure if you're a male, you've seen some of it.

It's a nicely designed and furnished vessel but I do not like the wheelhouse visibility. Sure, the flybridge offers a much more commanding position but that kind of limits the boat's use to my mind.

This boat feels like they have just thrown the galley in as an after thought. And a waste bin on the stairs to the Crew Cabins? $5m and they can’t build one into the galley?

i like the interior design more than the exterior design, but again, it's pretty "meh"...
i didn't run the math, but i think that for the price, someone would be better off just getting a boat engineered, and built at a shipyard, just furnish, and finish it after if they don't have what you want at the shipyard... but that's just me, i really can't see myself needing five bedrooms, and twenty bars on a boat... i can really do without all the fiberglass moldings, and the brand name, as well... i have a feeling those are essentially marketed as a "finished luxury product", an expensive party toy, something to show off your money, entertain your guests, maybe "kidnap", and "brainwash" a business relationship, or many, but as someone who might consider living on a boat someday, i really don't think yachts are either my style, or what i want... pretty sure i can i can probably draw my own ship, send it to a naval engineer, send that to a shipyard, and deal with the result after, all that for a /fraction/ of the cost of a "yacht", probably with a lot more range, something that's safe for ocean crossing, and such, maybe even defendable, ...
... still fun to watch, though, and familiarize myself a bit more with boat design at the same time...
i just think it's crazy to pay $8M for such a tiny boat when you can pay $100K for something that looks like a liner compared...
... i used to think they were personal sea crafts, kinda like personal jets, but they strike me more as sea RVs now... something that stays in a marina most of the time...
... i guess if i had $8M to shell on a toy, i wouldn't know that, though, and i guess the only real money to be made in yachts is building, and selling them... like a lot of luxury stuff, it just loses half it's value the second it leaves the dealership, and it's just common sense that since you can build a high-rise for $8M on land, no reason you couldn't tune it down a little, and maybe end-up with a medium office/warehouse building that floats, instead of a riced-up cubicle...
a scam for scammers..? seems like a scam to me, and seems like someone who wants to take me on a yacht might want to scam me, so... someone who just has one for fun would have pretty unoriginal to me, ... personal cruise ships like Putin's are impressive, that's just an overpriced water RV for unoriginal wannabe, or nouveau riche... the same kind of boring people who have RVs, only on water...
sorry for the big wall of text, but i figure maybe you probably don't really have anything better to do than to read it, and won't you know, i don't really have anything better to do than to write it, so...
i know a thing, or two about nightclubs, and most people who go out end-up going back home with the same people they walked-in with, and nothing exciting happens to them, i imagine it's the same kind of scenario where you have these one, or two people really partying, and this sea of wallflowers around them, but they think "i'm gonna buy a yacht, it's gonna be fun", but they just sit on it like stereotypical suburbanites do in their backyards, or RV camping site...
... anyway, it's a pretty interesting sideline, ... i watch your videos, and i enjoy them... it's interesting to see, and can't blame you for going after those finders' fees!
