Dear Ben, boker tov, iam from India🇮🇳 I am learning Hebrew from ur videos in u tube past 6month, I have doubt that in letters shin, sin, on the dots right, &left, when in, holem haser, suppose to come to gether, what to do,(leave two ✌dots are there together) like yahasof
If i spend a year in any nation on this planet I will obtain the basic use of that language., through observation and application., but for some reason learn best through human interaction ❤️
You ended the lesson with a picture of the 2 niqqud variations. The word רא had a cholam dot but no vav and you classified it as cholam malei. But it has no vav. Why is this?
Hi Patty, I am talking about אמות קריאה, you can find more here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mater_lectionis Is that what you meant? Thanks for the feedback.
So how exactly is this Hebrew when the oldest known and remaining manuscripts are in Greek both old and new? That would mean the Hebrew writings were lost or destroyed. Is this from the later masoretic text or yiddish? Where exactly are you getting this as being actual hebrew from? This is an honest question. Also what wouldnbe the benefit of me learning this language of its not authentic?
No all greek are after Hebrew. The old and new testament are mistranslated and modified from the original Hebrew word of God the TaNaKh. Anything greek is not biblical.
@@halfigliulo1019 Thats hogwash! The Torah was originally written in Hebrew but translated to Greek under Ptolemy the second (in 250bc). Later under Seleucid rule (greco-romans) the tanakh was also written in Greek around 136 bc. The Jews for the most part obviously still spoke in the orginal tongue but that doesnt change the fact that the original paleo was lost or destroyed. Not until the later 5th century Masoretic texts did the masoretes start creating this botched version somehow claiming to be what it wasn't. Don't even try and pull out the Paestine Canon of Jamia because that would of occured 30 years after the Jews were ran out of Israel in 70ad.The original bible writings were lost during antiquity and you sir are a fraud and don't even realize it. Anybody teaching Hebrew today is a con-artist because its a forgotten language. Even Erasmus used fragments of the Greek because he himself knew that the LXX was the oldest remaining book around. Anyways go ahead and keep making money teaching people of no understanding as yourself false languages.
So you agree with me. Hebrew was first and mistranslated by helenistic Greeks in Alexandria who spoke Hebrew badly. Your biblical and historical knowledge is lacking. The fact you're asking about Yiddish is proof. The scrolls were never Yiddish. Yiddish is considered Germania and came after the masoretes. Hebrew is over 3000 years old. Your problem is your only referring to the Greek versions. The letter by ptolomy is hogwash. It claims 72 scholars 6 from each Of the 12 tribes. Problem is the 10 tribes were lost 7 centuries earlier. Only the tribes of Judah Benjamin and some from Levi. Sorry the masoretes didn't translate. This is verified by the qumran scrolls. Which you claim are lost or destroyed. The masoretes match the qumran scrolls. Which would be a couple centuries before Jesus. The Hebrew TaNaKh has always been meticulously copied since it was the word of God. We count the words and letters. Scribes study years before they're allowed to write scrolls. That's why we don't have dozens of versions. The Greeks weren't so meticulously copied. Note the dozens of versions which contradicts each other. King James admitted he modified it several times himself.
Hi Ronin. Correct. The Hebrew you see here is not paleo-Hebrew but of course, you will find similarities The Nikkud is Tiberian, from around 1500 years ago. Here you can see the ancient Hebrew alphabet: czcams.com/video/s4yTIEQMUsw/video.html Here is the later Hebrew alphabet, the one modern Hebrew speakers use and in which the bible is written: czcams.com/video/m2xENiLeSps/video.html and czcams.com/video/CHhO-aS1bb4/video.html

You would be able to read the actual word of God. This isn't Yiddish as it came after the diaspora
