That is the really great part of travelling by motorhome without a fixed itinerary!

Bretagne is my happy place, have a place dead centre in Guerledan, largest lake in Bretagne. Don't write off going inland, very very quiet and beautiful forests. Make sure you try the galettes and cider.
Yes! We actually did spend quite a bit of time inland as the weather turned. We were also lucky to met someone who made sure we try some of the locally produced cider.

To be honest, we had LOADS of plans for Britanny. The weather had other ideas though. 😬😋 All the places you mention is still on our list. It's a really interesting part of France. Thank you for your comment!

Dinan is one of our favourite places, we have visited there many times in our motorhome and never get bored with the place. 👍
It was SUCH a surprise! If only the weather behaved, we would easily have hung around that area for a while.

Yes a really nice area to explore, I think a mad dash south is probably your next move to avoid bad weather 😕 it looks like Zaragoza in Spain, before you'll see any improvement 🤔😁😁😁👍👍👍

Your map at the beginning is wrong. You’ve forgotten all the region around Nantes, where stands the castle of the Breton dukes. This “departement” - Loire Atlantique- definitly belongs to the historical Brittany and the people overthere consider themselves as Breton. Furthermore, the breton language was spoken in the Guerande peninsula till the end of the 19 century …. All the best
Thanks for that. 👍 It's annoying (and confusing) when it's wrong like that as we rely on Google to quickly show maps in our videos - if you type "Brittany" into Google Maps that's what shows. We'll have to pay attention to this in future.
Wonderful video of Britany, never new it was so beautiful. Had to open my Google maps and mark Dinan as a place I want to see. And then I have to find dinner as watching all that food has made me hungry. Have you thought of adding a video or two of the food making, that risotto dish looked amazing.

Brittany is great for cycling, canal paths and disused railway lines. We have found that outside July / August it is very quiet and lots of shops closed. It's a pity that in many parts of rural France the villages are in decline, France is becoming very Paris centric
Some beautiful old villages but many are certainly shrinking in population. It shows unfortunately.
Brittany inhabittant grown. But only in big cities or long of the coast. 300 400 inhabitant per km2 long of the coast. 30 in center brittany.
For france , all the west coast is more and more settled. For resume france is empty around paris and inhabitted more and more long of his coasts and long of rhone rhin.
Lovely film, Dinan looks stunning (and a quick Google revealed plenty of Vegan choices!) We always love your films, but the breakfast sequence and Lisa doing yoga basically wrapped in a duvet were highlights! From a wildly windy Ireland 🤣K & N x

Hi. Just watching this video and, having also watched previous breakfast content, i was wandering what that thing you make the toast on is called and where can we get one from . We make toast on a dry fryingbpand which is ok but your toast always looks great. A link would be nice? Great content by the way.
This 'toaster' works relatively well but it's important to remove all loose crumbs else they burn and will cause smoke (which triggers our alarm 😁) amzn.to/47KOA9O

😁 Too late! We might have to rethink our pastry addiction. 🤔 Unfortunately we got a LOT of rain but did make our way south. Yes, we replaced the cassette toilet with a Separett Tiny. Almost a year ago now.

If you don't use a cassette, how do you deal with your toilette waste?
We replaced our cassette toilet with a Separett Tiny, just about a year ago. There is video somewhere on how we did it.
