Několikrát jsem byl přes zvoneček upozorněn na nový komentář, který se však pod konkrétním videem nikdy neobjevil. Osobně nemám s odstraňováním těchto komentářů nic společného. Takové praktiky jsou mi z duše odporné. Cenzura je zločin a lidé, kteří ji provádějí, jsou zločinci.
My greatest respect for the terrible suffering of the Czech
people in World War II. Operation Anthropoid was one the
bravest and most heroic SOE operation during World War II.
It should be remembered, however, that the Brits used and
recklessly sacrificed many foreigners Agents, including
Czech, Polish, European & Palestine Jews and even own
compatriots,for the interests of British war efforts. Many
of the SOE operations were poorly planned and ignored
the risks of retaliatory actions against local population.

What a pitty..i dont understand the czech language, so i cant watch this. Does someone hier know where i can watch it in englisch? I really admire Jan Kubis and want to find more informations about him.

What a pitty...but maybe you can help me a little bit. The house in 8:31, is ist the house where Kubis had lived before he go to the czech army? And the children on 8:40, are that jans Children, or is he one of the children?
Lise DeBaissac Yes, that's the house in which he grew up along with his three siblings (all in the picture). Since their mother prematurely died and their father got married and relocated soon afterward, Kubiš and his siblings were raised by their grandmother.
Thank you very much for the info. Do you know what happened with Kubis siblings at 1942? Were they all killed by the nazis or could some of them safe their lifes? Kubis was such a wonderful man, grow up in a loving family. I really hope that they did not all were killing by the nazis.
Lise DeBaissac Kubiš had originally five own siblings (other three were later born to Kubiš' father and his second wife), but two of the original five (brother Josef and sister Marie) passed away as children yet. Father František (*1887), brother Rudolf (*1912) with his wife Marie (*1912), sister Františka (*1915) with her husband Rudolf (*1912), brother Jaroslav (*1916) and sisters Marie (*1920), Vlasta (*1924) and Jitka (*1925) and cousin Jan (*1909) were all murdered in Mauthausen on 24th October 1942. Kubiš' step-siblings (children of his father's wife from her previous marriage) presumably survived the war, though they had also been arrested by Gestapo back in summer 1942.
