Just so you know that bolt and nut will cause counter balance on your pinion shaft and wear out the gears causing warping. That pin is meant to only be used
Checko is the pronouncing...I’ve been messing it up for years now. Lol. Definitely a solid choice! One of the most important upgrades I try to warn people do get in place before they blow theirs apart 🤦🏻♂️.
Ya mine started leaking about 220 miles so I fig I better replace it lol
@@MILLERSTV I have been through 2 diffs now...last one was definitely a major fault on my end with routine maintenance. Is what it is though...live and learn. lol. I am hoping with the new build I won't have to worry about it! Polaris definitely did it right with the new 1000 S!

@@MILLERSTV When they throw a RZR diff in an ATV I would definitely say that is a major fix. However...it is only available in the S models for now. Maybe eventually they will make it an option for the 850 models...hard to say. Stay safe out there!
Was yours leaking from the bottom of the plate or the shaft seal? & if at the shaft input did it continue leaking with the re-used seal?
Mine was leaking at the pinion seal. Doesn't leak with this new one at all

I cant even get the dam shaft off mine
I beat on mine for prob an hr its a pain to get the pin out i went back with the exact size case harden bolt and lock nut
I got the pin out but now i cant get the actual u join off the pinion
@@froylanduran4499 I had a lil trouble with mine I soaked in dw40 and keep working it finally came off
Do u think having it jacked up from the front makes it harder to pull it off?
