- Come along as I spearfish northwest Arkansas for Walleye with some friends. As the temperatures drop from the triple digit summer we had, the Walleye have come into the shallows and become more plentiful.

You were amazing on that cello on that great intro musical piece, Andy!! Especially playing with spear in one hand!! In all seriousness....very well videotaped and mixed......we had friends from Minnesota that corrected us whenever we'd proclaim brook or rainbow trout as the most delicate and delicious freshwater fish......they'd vote Walleye all the way!! 🤣 Walleye all the way!👍
Do they primarily relate to the lay downs? The sharp bluff breaks hold them more than other lay downs ?
I haven't patterned them out well enough yet to be sure. Seems they like the small bluffs, but not the overly steep ones. One common denominator seems to be finding them by timber or brush piles.
I’m coming up there in two weeks with the wife, island camping on the kayaks. Is there any decent areas of timber around the buckville launch area? Or should we shoot for another area of the lake.
