    1. I want to hug Lucy! 2. Your baby peeking out shirt is adorable. 3. So sorry about your losses. We spot bald eagles all the time by the creek here but never in our yard. Lots of other critters wander in though. -Jamie

O Cara, I’m sorry for your losses! Like you said, it’s part of being on a farm. Sadly. I’m not sure if it would work, but to keep away owls we used movement (handkerchiefs, windsocks) to keep them away and it worked 🤷‍♀️also, Are you expecting at the end of July? The shirt is adorable! Take care--lacy🤓

Hello Cara! You sure have alot of predictors. I see it could be abit challenging to keep your chickens safe. I guess if an eagle can pick up a small lamb or tiny dog, its not good. Take care and be safe.💕💜💕

Hi Cara, Oh no so sorry to hear about the loss of 22 of your hens. I have heard that if you have a goose in with your chickens they are better at keeping ariel predators away and warning faster than a rooster. TFS! Blessings to you and your family ✝🕊🙏🏼💖

I would love to free-range our chickens, but we also have lots of predators here ☹️ Our current issue is a bobcat who recently got one of our chickens. It has come back several times since. Sorry you lost one of your girls to the bald eagle. It's always so sad when we lose a farm animal but like you said it is just part of having them. 😢

Ohhh cara, sorry to hear that..😢 its hard sometimes when you feel like their nothing you can do to help them no.matter how much you tried to protcet them..our hens is jot fully free range.we made an inclosed run next to their hotel.becaue of predator.we also live in a country and many predator around.once in a while my hubby let them out but they all.scratch my flower beds and also including my neighbours so we need to babysit them if we let them out.😅

We could never free range our chickens either. Same kind of predators, and while we had fencing (non electric)surrounding their run, and even on the top (to prevent aerial predators), a ermine (weasel) got all our hens. The ermine had created a hole in the coop wall, down low, and we didn’t realize it until later. It was a terrible discovery in the morning when I went to let them out for the day. Predators are the biggest problems. Deer ate our veggie garden last year (all of it),first time ever. We are electrifying our garden this year. Best of luck to you! God Bless!

BLUEBIRD, a man on yourube bought that very same charger you have and he Said when it rains the button hole fills up with water and if winter it freezes and the solar charger will NOT WORK. Maybe you should send it back and change it with different type.
