Exposition of the Gospel of Luke - Chapter 4 vs 1-13
Jesus, now anointed with Holy Spirit is led into the wilderness to be tempted by satan. He overcomes each and every temptation (lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, & pride of life) the world offers us all, by quoting the Word.
Do not be deceived, just because you believe you are born-again doesn't mean that we won't be tempted again. When we are tempted we must resist satan the same way Jesus did.
We must understand that those living in unrepentant sin will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9, Revelation 21:8
