- May 30,2014 -- The 2014 Hong Kong Youth Music Festival was held along the city's landmark Victoria harbor.Yundi opened the festival's evening session by playing this piece.(Not a Steinway&Sons piano)
On hearing the opening notes, I thought it was some kind of electric piano....whew. And I agree with Florestan's post - something is missing from Yundi's playing lately.

??? 기량부터가 완전히 맛이가서 양쯔강 피아노가 문제가 아니라 스타인웨이를 갖다줘도 별 차이는 없을 듯. 미스터치가 너무 많고, 강약도 어색하고, 속도도 중구난방임. 총체적 난국

Missing the Yundi in his peak state... he does sound like he was drunk when he played this... though the Appassionata Sonata ordinarily should imho be played with a bit of drunkenness and craziness to it. Still love his rendition, despite all the flaws. There's something about his musicality that is simply enchanting.

Yes, something is definitely wrong... but also the piano sounds atrocious, out of tune, metallic, etc.

He's not having even speed, e.x, around 1:10. At 1:52, he even couldn't play it correctly. Not to mention those wrong notes. Used to love him but he really turned me down with his performance recent years.

Anyone own this brand of piano? Is this brand of piano reliable? I think it is a China brand piano but seem not so bad!

主班單位怎麼沒準備一台好的鋼琴。不知道是不是負面影響彈奏家
蕭賽金獎時技巧明明完全沒問題，怎麼過十幾年就變了個樣?
像喝醉的Phrasing, 趕拍、漏拍的情形根本不是專業鋼琴家該有的
不過最近發的蕭邦鋼協倒有中上水準，到底是技巧練回來了，還是花了無數個Take和錄音師的努力呢?
有沒有聽過他近一兩年現場的網友要發表一下看法?
可能是電腦混音做手腳。Beethoven Emperor 用高清組合完全聽不出有現場泛音！

너무 헛점이 많아서.. 잘치지만 준비를 많이 못한 학생이라고 말한다면 믿겠습니다.
Ps.좋게얘기하면이고 나쁘게 얘기하면 피아노 못치는사람. 나랑 비교해도.

연습 부족이 도를 넘었다는 점을 알 수 있죠

턱을 깍아버린것이 혹시 미용상의 문제였다면 큰 실수를 한것이고, 그전에도 오랜시간 교정을 한걸로 아는데 부정교합이나 치료목적으로 한것이라면 어쩔수없는 근손실, 예전의 힘을 회복하기란 여간 어려운것이 아닐꺼임. 단순히 연습부족으로 볼수없는 연주상태임. 정말 좋아했던 연주자여서 여러 경우의 수를 놓고 최대한 생각해봤을때, 일단 베토벤은 그의 연주와 맞지않음.

The pianist's performance is worse than a young child playing Mozart's piano sonata. It's just fast.
