Saeid, what an ingenious idea. I've seen jigsaws flipped around for scrollsaw type work, but you took it to another level. The notch in the fence, the blade guides, the way the entire unit can be flipped, you really put together a tremendously versatile tool. Looks like I just found my next build. Thank you.
Ranni, thanks very much for your kind comment. This one really has become one of my most used tools around the shop. I do have a Round Saw that I attached to a table. But nearly for every project, this is the one I reach for
Saeid
Well done, Sir! Not only have you built an incredibly useful tool, you took the time to share it with a smile. Much appreciated.
Ed G. Hill Thank you Ed. I appreciate your kind comment
Saeid
I am fortunate enough to have a wood shop and partial metal shop. However, it never ceases to amaze me, the level of ingenuity from around the world. With a proper metal cutting blade, I can see many applications for this, without the expense of a vertical metal-cutting bandsaw.
Bravo, Saeid!
+Hutch5321
Thanks Hutch. I appreciate it
Saeid
Friend, I don't really care where you are or what you "believe", I respect you and appreciate your insight. Thank you for sharing such practical, useful, information
Bruister, every one has to 'believe' in something. I believe I'll have another bear (-:
Thanks for your comment
Saeid
Nice design and execution Saeid! I like that it cuts metal too way easier than changing a bandsaw blade.
Michael Anway Thank Michael. Yes, this is pretty easy to use
Saeid
You are good-hearted and very unselfish. Thank you for sharing your project.
May the Lord bless you.
Awesome. I am going to build one of these. The safety aspect of it alone vs a table saw is incredible. Thanks for sharing this great idea.
Thank you Keith. The idea is not mine. You can buy a similar thing for around 200$. But this one is all metal and should last a life time.
Saeid
Thanks for posting this Utube. Your jig saw attachment is original, well thought out and presented. I am a self confessed tool- aholic so this draws me like a moth to a flame. The attachment improves upon the already versatile nature of the jigaw. For those who don't know welding light wall without tube the suitable welding equipment can be frustratingly difficult. People like our troll below probably have never attempted this with a transformer only welding machine.Using what you have and achieving a very successful outcome brings credit to you.Well done! Saeid.
Grahame Collins Thank you Graham. I appreciate you kind comment.
saeid
Simple and brilliant! For small workshops ideal. Everyone has a jigsaw but not everyone has a band saw and a place for it. Thanks for the idea! Greetings from Poland.
My compliments. Using ingenuity to accomplish tasks in a different way shows intelligence and talent. Carry on Sir. Show us more.
Thanks Mark. there's more coming.
Saeid, It is the best tool I've seen in the web. He is very creative, practical and versatile.Excelent work. Congratulations
+Enrique barría
Thank you very much Enrique
Hi Saied. I just wanted to let you know that I finally made one of these jig saw attachments and I'm so happy with it and want to thank you very much for sharing your plans. I hope that we will see more.
Thanks again for a wonderful product.
Michael, glad you made one and found it useful. And thanks for your kind comment. It means a lot.
Another EXCELLENT home-made tool! I really like how you think Saeid!
I suggest you add some light mesh, or window screen, around the air intake of your jigsaw, especially when you cut sheet-metal. The tool is not designed to be exposed to debris by being used upside-down like that. Screening would prevent the air intake from pulling small sharp pieces of metal through the motor which could potentially damage the delicate copper coils inside. Just use a small light piece of window screen to cover the air intake ports on the motor. Not really necessary if someone only cuts wood.
You have just made a custom home-made scroll saw, and if you increase the cut depth (distance form the where the top arm is welded to the frame, then increase the tablet surface also), you make a far more versatile scroll saw than you can buy commercially.
Absolutely EXCELLENT work. I am surprised a tool company has not offered you a job in research and design. A lot of your ideas are highly marketable!
+Kieron Seymour-Howell Great idea, thanks Kieron
I really like your ideas. I am sure this grinder idea could be sold as a commercial product. You should improve the design for looks and try selling them.
The same with your jigsaw design in the other video. The jigsaw design would be usable indoors, or in an apartment. It would allow people who do not have a workshop to make much better projects.
Hey Saeid
You keep coming up with great ideas, relatively straight forward, but so well thought out..... And I just love the versatility of your ideas as they have a multitude of uses not just one specific job.....great work & thanks for taking the time to share with us, especially someone like me who has the use's but can't think outside the box & can't spend on a dedicated device.....cheers:-)
Hi Lee. Thanks for your comment. Most everything I make, I make out of necessity. and because like you I don't want to/don't have the space for a dedicated tool. And since I'm limited in my skills, everything I design, I design very simple. I'm not being modest here. You can tell I'm a crap welder by all the holes I've blown in the square pipes,
Saeid
Brilliant! I really like how you've extended the operating parameters of the jigsaw with this attachment.
+Organikmechanic Thanks very much . I appreciate it
Saeid
Saeid, hey bro, fantastic job on the jigsaw attachment, it's the best one I have seen. Much love and respect from Northern California.
Good job! I love utilizing common tools in different ways than it's intended use. Thanks for sharing.
+Ron Holloway
Thanks Ron
Congratulations Saeid, is a fine attachment that you've made, so practical and accurate
Great job Saeid! I just purchased your plans and they are done very well! Neat design and so much easier than pulling out the table saw for quick projects. So there will be one made in Washington State.....Rob
Thanks for your feed back Rob, much appreciated.
I find it useful to have two Jig Saws, one attached to this device and one for free hand.
Saeid
fantastic. I do a lot of work with smaller pieces of wood. this seems perfect for that. I don't want to take up my whole shop with a big machine. I was looking for something like this its genius. thank you
+Jay Williams Thanks Jay, and yes , this works really well for smaller pieces that can't be clamped down
Congratulations Saeid, is a fine attachment that you've made, so practical and accurate, tnx for sharing!!!
Emmanuel Lopez Gracias Emmanuel
من مدل های مختلفی از این کار دیده ام ولی انصافا طرح شما از بقیه بسیار بهتر است. دستت درد نکنه
Mercy aziz
Awesome, and thank you for sharing it, an alternative to a small band saw. Plus a big improvement on the accuracy of the jigsaw as the blade is held firmly not leaning to the side.It will also be useful for cutting metal parts. You are a genius.
You made a bandsaw/Scrollsaw with a 9 in. throat capacity and a rip fence. Really good job with that. I really admire the way you took a jigsaw and made a bandsaw/Scrollsaw. Though you might want to lose the gloves.
+DZ Gaming Thanks!
You'll never find me without gloves in my workshop
Very clever! Good job. I do like the flexibility of your design.
Calvin Fowler Thank you Calvin. I appreciate it
Saeid
2.2 million views well done, great inverted jigsaw table
Easy machine to work with, practik and very good. Well done. Congratulations.
Another Great project ..I like how this is made. That was a great Idea how you made the piece that supports the blade... The Jigsaws can be bought for a cheap price around $20
Hello. Yes! Cheap Jig Saws can be used this way. I switched to Makita Jig Saws years ago. Unlike Grinders, there's a huge difference between a cheap Jig Saw and an expensive one in how usefull they are
Nicely done! Very clever. Thanks for all the illustrations of how to use the tool.
My pleasure Joann

Thank you for this easily understood descriptive and clear to understand video, I both like your art work and certainly will attempt your jig saw modification for my self. Cheers
+Barry Durrant
Thank you Barry
Very nice. Recently bought a lower priced band saw and im not happy with it. This is very practical and looks like it cuts smoother than my bandsaw. I Think there is already a problem on my Bandsaw blade but to replace it is around AUD$40 but a good jigsaw blade would only be $2. And you can do sheet metal. Good one !!!
Proud to see another useful extension from your creative talent.
happy easter
Jean-Jacques Saïd Richard-Fry THank you Jean, I appreciate it. happy easter to you too
Saeid
like the way you make make things vice-mountable - really saves space!
Very cool in deed. If you do little changes and you have something good and you don't need a bandsaw.
It's also good home learning process, thanks for the shows really appreciable.
It's me,

Omgosh how smart is that !!! LOL now to figure out how to make one
Myself LOL Well I guess get a Machine shop to make the attachment ..
I have to share this as well !! Very ingenious my friend !!!!
+Hippie Hugs with Love Michele
Thanks again Hippie. You're very kind.
Saeid
great work saeid. i like you conception that a jigsaw can be universal for all cut. I hope you share your plans on how its made together with measurements
Larché Jacques Clarel
Hi. Thanks! and glad yo t he design. Yes, I'll be posting the design soon as I get a chance t do the drawings with measurements.
Please check back. I'll be putting a link on the video description
Saeid
ok thanks in advance :)
Meu amigo a sua foi a melhor de todas, Parabens. Farei uma imediatamente.
Parabéns e valeu.
Very ingenious! Greetings from France
Really like your art work! I do similar projects. More of an artist than a woodworker but they fit hand in hand.
+Billy Barton
Thanks Billy
Very clever home made tool!! Well done. I wish the video was about how you made it...
it seems you have a lot of ingenuity. Your "jig"is really interesting. I think when I get time, I will do one like yours to replace a deficient scroll saw. Thanks for the idea, and have a good time,
Peace brother.
olivier
Olivier Dubois Thanks Oliver. Good luck with your build.
Saeid
Excelente video, es digno de admirar como hacer una herramienta tan sencilla a una herramienta multiple y con mejores propositos. Felicitaciones.
Gracias Simon
Simple and yet Great innovation. Thanks for sharing
Saeid Momtahan Looking forward to it. Thanks and great work
Nice design, a good alternative to a band saw, always look forward to your videos, all the best.
Thanks very much Mick
Saeid
Very well done!!! words cant describe such a brilliant jig wonderful keep posting. Keep safe.
+orthodoxjohn
Thank you John
Very Clever. Well done Saeid.
Wow! that is a really sweet device you made there!. I never learned how to weld and it is really just beyond me. I am more of a wood worker and I can see a use for this in my own shop. You might think about getting a patent on that and try maybe to market some. Anyway, great idea!
+Rupert Humperdink
Thank you Rupert
Another fine project Saeid. All you projects are very practical appropriate if you have the tools to make them.
Thank you Mark. I appreciate it
Saeid
Very cool project with good design and deities. Can show how to assembly. Make another project for table saw.
The nice thing about wearing loose fitting gloves when you use power equipment is that they keep your fingers in the glove when you snag the blade and cut one or more of them off.
Grazie per aver pubblicato i piani. Buen y original trabajo.
Oi Saeid Momtaj, achei legal seu projeto parabéns e funcional e pratico, Zé Carlos, Iru/SP Brasil
Excellent. Well produced. Thanks.
George Glass Thank you George
Saeid
I have made one and it works like a bomb. Thank you so much.
+Rob Ross
Yes, it's a very useful tool. Thanks!
This is a cool idea. I would make my own version with a rotary hand saw.
I'm a tool freak!! GREAT TOOL!! Tks for the vid. Maybe in the future you would make a video on how to make the assembly parts step by step, still a great vid, thanks
Juaquin, the plans are up for sale. Look in description for a link
I enjoyed your video and think what you made for a tool is a great idea.
Thank you Lyle. The idea is not mine. This is just my version of an existing tool
excellent great idea, very firm and safe to operate, well done.
+Michael joseph Kirby
Thank you Michale
Nice, to bad this wasn't available 50 years ago when I purchased my first jig saw. May see if my son will make one for me. At my age I don't do many major projects any more. Bird houses, boxes, and turning pens is about all any more. If it can't be done if a few hours, I don't make it.
Wilson E. Stevens Wilson I hope you'll get one of these, You can always give the plans to a welder and have them build one for you.
Saeid
very clever a man after my own heart. brill

Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful idea.
YOu're welcome!
That's a great piece of equipment you made there , thanks for sharing ; )
+yensabi
Thanks!
A good tool to jigsaw. Like!
Credit your ingenuity. One option is to buy more tools, another is to use fewer tools to perform more tasks. This $50 saw does the job of a table saw, circular saw and band saw at a fraction of the price. And in some cases safer.
Thank you
Mark Daniel Thanks Mark. It is a very useful tool this one. I put my Makita on it and have another cheapo Jig saw for going hand held.
Thank you for share your awesome jig.
Very useful tool, brilliant idea...
Excelente la cortadora, Gracias por compartir
Nice tool. Congrats for your ingenuity.
Dear Saeid sir, Brilliant! I should like to make one. Thank you pierre from New Mexico

it looks really good... I'd have liked it if you explained it's construction a bit more though.
Gave me some great ideas! Very nice job!

Saeid
Neat simple idea, well done
A good idea to expand the functionality of the Jigsaw. Good video but it could be improved by showing how you mounted the jigsaw to the frame. Is it quick and easy to attach and remove the jigsaw?
Very clever and creative !
Thank you
saeid
fantastic the best idea in recent times very practical!

Just made myself one, very handy.thank you.
+Andrew Wilson great to hear that
Saeid Momtahan The good news is it also inspired me to make a very similar base and carrier for a hand held electric plane that I picked up very cheaply at a garage sale. It allows me to surface small wood stock and with an adjustable fence I can accurately machine the wood to a bevel or 90 degrees. I have a sliding weighted roller to hold the work down onto the plane base when reducing thickness. I can easily machine wood down to 1 mm!
Very cool. Show us a video
Thank you all for 1/2 M views.
