Brilliant well done guys. I used to run a CrossFit initiative for disadvantaged teenagers which they loved, I can see how Movnat can provide a similar but probably more accessible and enjoyable service to these kids. Great to see 🙏

The inherent problem with this is similar to CrossFit in schools or situations like "The McDonald's Lunch Program" or "The Cafeteria. sponsored by: Nestle/The Hershey Co/General Mills Inc/The Kraft Heinz Co "Acting class. Sponsored by: Disney/Warner Bros./Sony"
Corporate entities do not belong in schools and should not be making profit from school programs or education classes.
The amount spent in certifications, equipment, and ongoing fees would likely wipe out and dominate the physical education budget in most every public school.
If it wasn't for "MovNat" and "Natural Movement" being trademarked and a brand then there wouldn't be an issue, but the fact there is is a problem.
Additionally, requiring PE teachers to gain certifications from such an entity erodes the credibility of their already obtained education.
Potentially creating a situation where such post secondary college/university education is no longer required, as long as they have all the certifications from said corporate entity and teach at schools without rigorous vetting or appraisal of their knowledge and abilities to educate and work with young people.

The real problem is that school boards have an agenda that makes it restrictive for teachers to integrate things that they have acquired and create programs that go beyond team sports and the standard (not so great) physed cuuriculum found in schools.
I'm not sure about the current situation, but MovNat has historically offerex active school physed instructors free certifications to help support them integrating natural movement in schools. No concern about trademarks or corporate benefit.
MovNat is not CrossFit/Nestle... it's a small grassroots business run by half a dozen practitioners. Totally different situation, but I get where you're coming from.

@@MovNatthe problems with physical education systems is irrelevant. This is a criticism to the proposition of movnat in schools. If there were true altruistic intent, a real desire to alter physical education in schools, and no agenda from movnat in this regard then movnat should be more than happy for other alternatives (the natural method, gymnasticia, parkour, and other movement & martial arts in schools) to be explored in this conversation, rather than movnat being the only acceptable solution.
missing my point, again; the difference between Parkour, gymnastics, the natural method, or general outdoor physical exercise and movement arts (like tai chi, rock climbing, swimming) is that MovNat is a brand not an exercise or physical education system, so training and instruction in it can only come from MovNat instructors and the entity, rather than someone independent from movnat who wants to teach it in schools without movnat approval or certification. The "size" or being "grassroots" is irrelevant.
