DEBATING EXCELLENCE 2024 AT NiT

The Calcutta Debating Circle organised the prestigious "Debating Excellence 2024" at Narula Institute of Technology. The motion for the debate was "Parents should tell their children that they can achieve everything." This thought-provoking topic prompted city school students to demonstrate their exceptional reasoning abilities and critical thinking skills.
Adding an international dimension to the event, guest debaters from Harvard University, the London School of Economics, Yale University, and Cambridge University participated, providing valuable insights and elevating the level of discourse.
The session was coordinated by Dr. Kunal Sarkar, a renowned cardiologist and the founder of the Calcutta Debating Circle, alongside Jordan Anderson, a debate coach from King's College, London. Their guidance and expertise contributed significantly to the success of the event, inspiring and engaging all participants.
Shri. Bidyut Majumder, Deputy Director, Business Development, JIS Group later presented a memento to Dr. Kunal Sarkar and other delegates.
