Mmmmmm no. I love this song to death. But its not anywhere in terms of influence or significance close to all those great songs of the 70s. And when you're talking about Greatest of all time, you need to factor in stuff like that.
I'm tapping out after that transition from Revolve to Judy. And I've heard Revolve hundreds of times and am even slowly trying to learn its bass parts. I was even fortunate to see them play the Houdini album live in 1993. But that switch was just too fucking intense. I quit.

I saw this Melvin's line up the same year in Grand Rapids MI in a small bar with maybe a 100 people. One of the greatest touring bands ever. They were non stop small bar one week next week festival.
Later but when I saw them live in 02/03 for HAT album tour I seem to remember it being a bell (like a service bell seen at hotel’s desk lol) duct taped to the bass…idk if he actually ever played it
Having had to kick the f**k out of Rutmanis due to his extra curricular interests in the field of Pharmaceutics and Health in general😂 must have hurt . Latter´s interaction with Crover in this is the most crushingly heavy , tight sound Melvins have ever been able to conjure up . Having said this , he probably owes Buzz his life ...
