The Laos vlog Ep.2 is finally done. I spent the whole day editing it in a hostel in Kuala Lumpur (time to go get some food now, haha)
This video is a one-day vlog in the nature-rich countryside town of Vang Vieng, Laos. It's hard to believe this was two weeks ago（；；）I was really looking forward to Vang Vieng. I once read in a previous blog post, "If life gets tough, just go to Vang Vieng and have a beer." Now, I totally understand what that meant. The pace of life there was completely different. I absolutely love this town. One video wasn’t enough to capture all of Vang Vieng I experienced, so I plan to make another one!
During my travels, I've encountered countless meetings and farewells. I gradually get used to it, but it still comes with some pain. Nonetheless, there's nothing more fulfilling for me than meeting and conversing with people I would never have met just commuting between my apartment and workplace in Japan.

It's not so bad to be alone or beeing lonely. I was in VangVieng two times from mid size family from US just not only to have fun but experiencing how it feel to be lonely or being a loner.
when you meet new people, you are a reflection of not only yourself but also your loved ones who raised you & your identity as a Japanese person. It is a beautiful thing to get to know new people as it is a spiritual exchange of love & knowledge. I hope everywhere you go you can open up to people you find trustworthy and enjoy the freedom of travel ( wish I could join you/happy to see you excited to experience life)

Spicy food is normal in Laos but you can tell the cooks not to make it spicy for you and it still will taste good.
Best time to visit Laos is December and January when it’s cooler during those times.🤙

good to see you letting go and taking the leap to travel, a lot of people say they would love to travel but really make no efforts to turn it into reality, they are scared to leave the comfort and security of home and catapult themselves out into the weird and wonderful world we exist in etc and its a shame to see them miss out on the chance to grow as human beings through experiencing different places and cultures etc.. anyway, glad you are having a fun time ;)
