All drone shots done by a licenced drone pilot with a lawfully registered drone. The drone was never flown in the provincial park. The pilot remained outside of the park during the flights and kept the drone in visual site. The drone never took off or landed in the provincial park.

Cell Phone Service: If you've been to this park please let us know your experience with cell service.
We were just at long point in the pull thru sites, beach cell service non-existent and have to watch as it can say you’re roaming in the US. Campground I’d say spotty. Not so much streaming and all, calls were fine.
You guys are doing such a great job of this. TFS 😎🇨🇦
Thanks so much! Happy camping!
Righttt!?? No nonsense every second of footage is so valuable and informative ! Awesome job!!!!
Glad you guys missed that benz lol, lookin forward to the next one!
Amazing video as always. Keep up the great work 👍

Thanks so much. Stay tuned for more videos! Happy camping!
My favourite beach park! Amazing video o ce again guys!
Thanks so much! Happy camping!
I was lucky enough to have grandparents with a cottage in Long Point. We had good beaches way back then
I've been going to Long Point since I was 3 years old but strangely I had never been in the Provincial Park until this trip. I have family with a cottage there and we always went there instead of camping. Ben
Love this video concise, very informative and engaging! You guys inspire us. Keep it coming😊
Thanks so much! Happy camping!
Sooo happy I found your site...thanks guys . My wife and I love camping too with our trailer.
Awesome! Thank you!
Another great video guys.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks.
This brings back a lot of good memories. Fantastic use of your drone, Ben, and nice to see a shot of dad fishing. Praise God you missed that Mercedes! Love you!
Thanks sis. We need to do another Texas road trip for a visit when the border opens up again.
Your fish selfie is awesome!
great video again. We tent it and went to Long point for the first time two years ago. The sand is everywhere but it's our kids favourite park. We were there twice last year in the old park and will be back again this year. Nothing beats falling asleep while you hear the waves rolling in.
Yes, if you're looking for a beach park for the kids then Long Point is a great park.
love all the videos. They're so informative and have inspired us to check out some new parks! You're video on restoule was quite helpful!
Thanks for the support. We're glad we can inspire you to explore more. Happy camping!
very cool.
I loved this video. Appreciated trying something out of the “norm”. My boys love sand so ALL the sand sounds good for a beach trip!
I am so relieved you missed a collision! My heart skipped a beat. Looking forward to the future episodes! :)
Thanks Alison. We can always count on you to boost our egos with good reviews of our videos. Thanks again. Maybe we'll run into you out there some time. Happy camping!
Yikes! that was a close one with that benz! Thanks for the review. We are into a lot of the things you guys are, so we likely won't be going to that park. We just got home from a great week in Algonquin PP.
Love Long Point.. Tent sites are fantastic and lots of trails from the site direct to beach. The parking lot zone with trailers is probably the only downfall, IMO, but glad you guys made the best of it. Cheers!!!
Which sites are the best?
Thanks for the info on Campnab we are certainly going to check it out! Always learn something new with your videos :-) We tent camped at Long Point for years (we upgraded to trailer when kids came along) so your review of being close to neighbours we knew you guys would comment on & your score was no surprise, LOL. Great review & glad you guys are ok after that quick reaction!!
Thanks for the support. Campnab worked pretty well for us. I'll definitely be using it again. Happy camping!
Love your channel I just found it. So helpful ❤
Awesome! Thank you!
Long Point is so unique!
Yes it is. It was a good to experience. Happy camping.
Wow that video had it all!!! Great stuff, appreciate the info. Nice to see the fam...Will be looking for you out there to say Hi!
Much appreciated. Hope we can meet "in the wild".
You drove right by our farm. Should have stopped in.
Thanks for the video great job:) I finally got some days in Algoquan park from June 30 to July 3 can wait never been in that park before :)
Thanks so much. You're going to love Algonquin Park. You'll have to do a bit of driving to do everything it has to offer but it's worth it. Keep your eyes peeled for Moose whenever driving within the park. Happy camping!
@@CampingwiththeColes thanks for letting me know. We are doing tent camping hope no bears come visit us lol. We are looking forward to camp their and see the beautiful parks. Thanks again :) happy camping for you both :)
Hope you guys are having fun as things start to go back to normal for us we head out Saturday to Silent Lake.
Have fun. We're going there for the first time next month.
@@CampingwiththeColes we have only tent camped there before a few times.
Best beach on Lake Erie !
Enjoy all your videos. I feel you should reconsider doing your summary while you drive. Maybe use this as a learning opportunity with your subscribers. It is distractive driving even if someone pulls out in front of you. Please stay safe and continue making great videos. We enjoy Ontario parks just like you guys.

Hi Guys, we love your reviews. Can you include a WIFI signal strength for those who work from home but would love to do that while camping? That would be awesome. Keep it up!!!
You know what, I planned on mentioning the cell phone signal but forgot. At Long Point PP the strongest cell signal is from the US and your phone may show as roaming and use that signal. In the past I received a big US roaming charge. I had to call Koodo to straighten it out explaining that I never left Canada. I'm assuming I'll have to do that again from this trip but I haven't yet gotten my bill.
Just came across your channel, i will forsure be following along! My bf and i have been trying to get our feel for which parks we loves best for around 6 years now, but we were pushed out far this year due to the volume of people booking. Im curious if you have ever been or heard anything about Martin River provincial park?
We haven't been to Martin River PP. That's an area of Ontario that we haven't been to yet. I'm sure we'll get there some day. Happy camping!
Great review! Thank you. When are you going to Port Burwell?
Thanks for the support. We'll be at Port Burwell July 15-18. Happy camping!
Ah really? I'm at Burwell the weekend before and at Emily that week. Would have loved to meet up. Maybe another time
@@CampingwiththeColes We'll be at Port Burwell July 11 til 14th. Can't wait to get there.
@@scottharvel9986 We love meeting people. Maybe another time. Happy camping!
@@joefoxbody9317 Missed you by a day. Maybe some other time. Have a good time.
Excellent reviews. Keep it up. Not a big fan of the Lake Erie camp grounds, having said that when you go to Port Burwell you got to go into town and go on the tour of the submarine. Absolutely amazing. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for your support. We've never really considered going to the Lake Erie parks before but since starting our reviews of parks 3 years ago we're making a concerted effort to try new parks. We have fun wherever we go and I'm sure we'll continue to have fun exploring the Lake Erie Parks. Happy camping!
I have steered clear of these parks on Lake Erie due to ticks but there was no mention of it. Is it still an issue?
The tick problem in Ontario really started at Long Point years ago but now its everywhere. In all of the Lake Erie Parks we went to this year we never found any ticks but we are much more careful these days. Last year we found tons of ticks at Pinery and also found ticks at Point Farms and Presqu'ile. Our suggestion is to take tick preventative measures at all parks. I don't think the Lake Erie parks are any more of a tick problem than anywhere else these days. Happy camping!
You mentioned changing your reservation at Sandbanks. Did you have to pay cancellation fees on your original site or were you able to call and ask them to switch your site without incurring cancellation fees?
If you want to camp in the same park but change the dates or your site you can do that online. On the Ontario Parks Reservations website go into My Reservations and click on change. I believe there is a $10 Change of Reservation fee. That's a lot cheaper than cancelling and rebooking.
@@CampingwiththeColes thank you. We’ve shortened stay before using the online change but didn’t know we could change sites. We actually booked a different site at the same park, same time and then cancelled original. Learned something new again! Thank you.
Can you walk down the beach to the very tip where the lighthouse is? Will anyone stop you?
I've never tried. It's pretty far. Nobody will be there to stop you. I think there might be no trespassing signs though.
Were there any Caterpillars/Gypsy Moths?
None that I could see.
What was with the wierdo on the bench??
The sign at Stubbs says "A sunny place for shady people." The guy was a local guy who was a friend of the owner of Stubbs. He just sat there trying to look shady for us😎.
@@CampingwiththeColesjust saw this comment - that’s hilarious! 😂
