The fact Fergie still holds Park Ji Sung in such high regard brings me so much happiness.
Factssss
We need a Park for the current squad, one who think the team is first not himself.
As a Chelsea fan I hated seeing Park in the line up coz he always performed in big games
Honestly, why doesn’t he have an icon card yet ?
I'm sure after his mention, Son is feeling ultra proud too
You know he’s one of the greatest when all his retired players still call him boss. What a man
Yeah even ronaldo when he meats him in the European finals he called him boss
I doubt Roy Keane calls him that
Fergie calls Messi “boss” 🙇🏻♂️. 2009 & 2011 👊🏻😵
is the greatest not one of
Knowing his reputation, I wouldn't risk not calling him that.
Ji Sung Park was the definition of hard work brings rewards, he played every game like it was his first in the Premier league and did everything he was told without question for the benefit of the team and the fans. Hes badly missed in that united squad now.
i think fred has some of park's qualities, he's been great under ten hag
Realy ya talking jiberish
Hoping the same for Son Heung Min
koreans are just raised like that, the pressure they have growing up to do good at school, to go to a good university is insane, pretty much all of the kids there attend different activites after school, whether its sports, learning languages, learning musical instruments, you name it. also its mandatory to go the army there, which teaches young people even more discipline. we in the west are pussies, kids here cry because they have to go to school 5 times a week meanwhile doing fuck all besides just showing in for classes, they have it hard there, kids in the west nowadays have no pressure at all

As a liverpool fan, the respect he gives Anfield is amazing, we all know Anfield is a fortress. I hated him for the sucess he brought our rivals, but will always respect what he done and how he did it! Hats off to you sir!
Thanks from a United fan ☺️
a man united fan here, your last statement, im sorry si, i cant! hahaha. id love to see man city to lift up the trophy this season instead of liverpool and for UCL, the same thing haha
Lies again? Only Fans
Well, if you go back about 115 years, both Liverpool and United are money clubs lmao
it's a joke, but yeah Liverpool were founded by Anfield's landlord to replace Everton, and Newton Heath had their ground funded and built by a wealthy local businessman in Manchester when his daughter found their fundraising dog. So yeah, technically both century-old money clubs 😂
Well Atletico destroyed that fortress!
Get him on a straight 24 hour podcast and i would listen to it in one session.
Me to the man's a legend people need to pick his brains before he's not here anymore
Me too 👍

Excellent idea!!
Fr man such passion and calmness in his voice absolute legend

He’s the godfather for all us United fans. Lucky to have fallen love with the team of my life when this man was still at the helm in 2003/04.
One of my two all time favourite players. Ji Sung Park is one of the G.O.A.T. s. His footwork and precision in playing/execution are brilliant eye candy to watch! It was understandably hard for him to feel celebratory in their win against Moscow in 2008 when they prevented him from playing the entire game. What a disservice after all his contributions to getting the team there. Wonder what we missed that we could have seen from him......we will never know.
Three lung Ji-Sung. He never let us down. He was the man Sir Alex trusted in the big games. His fitness was unparalleled. He’d be hustling injury time like he was in the 1st minute.

Not a chance, Barcelona were far too strong for United even if Messi was being man marked
@@aztecblanchard344 Honestly, I think he was speaking about the 2009 final in Rome not the 2011. in 2011, there was no way that Man U squad would get near Barcelona. In 2009, it was a close game and Man U had younger players and, of course,Ronaldo. in 2011, the best Man U player was Chicharito and most of the big names were aging. Plus, in 2009, Barcelona wasn't that dominant. they almost lost to Chelsea if it weren't for that Iniesta's last min shocker. Chelsea were far better and got wronged by the referee. In 2011, that Barcelona team with David villa was surreal.
Thank you sir Alex for showing quality spirit and quality football
Brilliant this 👏🏻….. way better when you grow up and appreciate pure class
Best manager ive seen at anfield regardless if we won United or not …… unreal
The respect Neville still has for Sir Alex, even calling him boss still, is just wonderful.
My grandad worked for SAF for 25 years, he ended up getting dementia and forgetting most of what he knew, one day we got a called from Fergusson and even after 10 years and dementia he still answered with yes boss
@@lukewatson5273 what a story dude 😥
ronaldo also still calls him boss.
“I thought Delle Ali would be a top player but I don’t know what happened there” bruh 😭
True though. Delle believed his own hype and didn't push on to improve himself couple of years he'll be at a Burnley or a Brighton.
Too busy hanging around with bad eggs off the pitch 👍 true story btw.
He's still 2 or 3 years from his peak, so he still has an opportunity to show what he is made of
Mourinho happened.
Went full Lingard
What a great legend
he was absolutely spot on about Eddie Howe look at how hes transformed the Newcastle side over the past two season and this prediction is from 2 years ago just goes to show how class Alex Ferguson really was and how knowledgeable he really is about the game
Cried a little for this interview, he is respected and his perception is just something else. He knew from CR7 was 17 years old that he is going to be a top top player, what a manager. We missed you Sir Alex, you will always be the greatest
Well he paid world transfer record for teenager for Ronaldo. 😃
@@harukrentz435 he got paid the world record for when he went to Madrid
@@timvanderhoeven4840 he went to United for a world record fee and left for another world record fee. Also left Madrid for another world record fee, first player above 30 y.o to cost €100M.
he also thaught jones was world class ...
@@WillyNick24 he was a beast back in Fergie days and every Man red fan had anticipated that he might be a good investment for the future but after Sir Alex retired , everything went downhill for him.
the one dislike is from Martin Keown
keown what a log
And ty
Even he would respect a legend though, and I can say that as an Arsenal fan.
@@pablocomo923 Martin has family and friends.
No, Martin would have LOVED that.
Sir Alex is one of a kind. Great man.
City fan here, but Park was still one of my favourite players growing up, you don't see such work ethic on the pitch nowadays.
Hated his guts for years as an Arsenal fan but now I want as much of him as possible. Legendary man. Anyone who can get him and Wenger in the same room will be a hero.
Exactly! Well put👏👊
He's very interesting to listen to
Big respect between Sir Alex and Wenger, as a united fan the rivalry between United and Arsenal was the best I've seen in football, before Chelski and Abu Dhabi city ruins football
@@ThrashBayArea Absolutely
They both should be covering the Euro and the World Cup for Sky and stuff but.. I think Fergie just wants to go the games.. specially the Euro final is gonna be at Wembley right?
I don’t care how Good Mourinho, Guardiola, etc etc is, no one will ever have this mans vision. What An absolute legend! I would give years of my life just to ear Sir Alex’s stories of his career and his life.
Sir Alex & Wenger are the Premier League's best ever managers
Hands down the best manager ever 🐐🐐
@@Dercudez idk about Wenger ofc he is amazing but not the best
Depends what pep goes on to achieve. If he stays at city he could go onto win loads
@@Dercudez wenger isnt top 2 but hes definitely one of the most influential managers ever especially if we're talking about english football
The GOAT of football managers. What a man
As a Chelsea fan for fifty years have upmost respect for Sir Alex 👍
Love SAF. His opinions are very honest and he doesn’t bias towards Man Utd. Can’t wait to see the documentary!
So do i.
I followed him when he was at Aberdeen best manager of all time.
Not biased towards Man U but picks Greenwood as best young player? Yeah I suppose he is a level above Mbappe, Haaland etc. I love SAF and I'm a Chelsea fan but saying he isn't biased is biased itself!
@@rynoburrow he said english players...
@@rynoburrow he does mention Phil Foden as well. Those are, probably, the best English players (youngsters) in the PL at the moment
Bigo Jt no he didn’t lol
I remember Rooney also picked Ji as the most underrated player.
Ji's work rate was incredible, united were always a better team when he was playing.
@@tomives3298 work rate and goddamn smart. He wasn’t just chasing, he was anticipating and shadowing exceptionally well. Do we win? I dunno, they seemed a bit more but do we give em a LOT more hell? Absolutely. Ji just kept your oppositions playmaker too busy to be as effective.
Rooney and ji was a match made in heaven, so many goals made from ji's assists
Yes there were people with no football brain who criticized him for running like headless chicken. But he ran into space very intelligently. SAF also said this in another interview about his "understanding of space". He created space for other players making everyone in the team play better.
@@user-hu8fn2jp5v ji actually didn;t get many assists and i can't think of any rooney goals of his assists of top of my head. he was about his work rate he was never a particularly creative player
Gary Neville’s laugh is so contagious. Makes the interview even better
The fact that he knows how old players were at the time of certain games and things like that is amazing. I can't remember what I did yesterday.
The end - “thanks son”, why did that get to me 😢
Just a sign of dementia ... he momentarily though he had been talking with Park Ji-'Sung'
Gary "You did cause me some embarrassing moments" Neville
Hahahahah good
What a legend
