It’s always a great feeling to see your house how you wanted it to look like! For the olive tree I can give you some information because we have huge fields with olives trees here🇬🇷 Olive trees love the sun so a place with many hours of sunshine is recommended. The grow relatively slow so don’t expect to be double in size until next year! They don’t thrive on very high or very low temperatures and they don’t need very much water! You must check the soil and if it’s wet don’t water it again! Also, pruning is essential for olive trees but for us that we have them for the olive oil production… I don’t think that you need to prune this tree on the pot! Although, if you want to help it grow faster you should take of the fruits! The tree uses its power to grow the olives and it doesn’t grow that much! I assume you don’t aim for the olive oil with just one tree so I suggest you to cut down the fruits so the tree has the nutrients to grow itself and not grow the fruits!

Peter Your home is totally a dream vacation home feel. The design style is definitely something to think about. I do love lots of light. The house minimalist yet inviting. I know your loving the well planned organization. So there is proper places for things. The easy to clean and care for factor !! The way everything blends and flows. The kitchen bar seats functional but art pieces! … I definitely appreciate the space on the whole. I like a few antiques though. I am a fan of the rocks and minerals, they are beautiful. I studied Geology and fossils and sciences in College. Though I have never considered them to be used like that. They are very nice specimens. A lot of people have said to me all my life what is the point of having collections you love … but that are never shared or seen Also you do get to a point in your life. When you say I just want the place to look great if somebody shows up. I am glad you are making your happy Little World of your loves my friend.
Absolutely STUNNING ! 🤍 I've loved every second of this reno vlog series- The space is so bright and feels so wide ! There is so much light coming in. The white and minimalistic aesthetic just makes everything look SO much better ! You guys really have great taste ! The fossil head in the living room is so incredibly well highlighted on that furniture-crate , very Indiana Jones indeed 😂 My favorite part HAS to be the dining room with the incredible fossil on the wall. It looks amazing, compliments the space so well, and the table and chairs are perfect for this space. Making your coffee and walking out on the patio must feel amazing in the morning on a sunny day- I would hang out there all day for sure ! Also the empty corner that leads into the sunroom would be a perfect spot for a Piano 😍 If you play the piano it would be a great idea. Altough I can't wait to see what art piece you will find to attach to that wall. I love the mix of textures and materials that pulls pops of color into spaces making it all a nice transition from one room to the next. Looks amazing Peter! I love that you had a clear vision and executed it perfectly. For the large art piece, I think what you’re looking for is an impressionist painting… Impressionism is literally abstract realism 😆 you just need to find one with the colours you like.
My first thought when you said "smears on a canvas" for the wall where you're looking for the painting was a Jackson Pollock reproduction. It's splatter, not smears, but similar vibe! I think it'd look cool in your house, personally. The one I have has a thin wood frame around it too. Just an idea! 😊
Congrats on finishing this massive project - kudos to everyone who helped you make this come true!🥂 Absolutely love how the open concept came out, with all the natural light, managing to still stay on the cosy side even with the 'art gallery' theme. Mayhaps it's the mix of dark wood and metal versus a bright, plain colour that makes it make sense to me, since I've always adored that combination, even though personally, I do enjoy my clutter to a large degree. On the other hand, I do think you're definitely on the right track with enjoying the empty and bare room for a while. It can be super refreshing to have this type of blank canvas to work with, and almost magical when you find just the right piece for the puzzle - filling that space with meaningful objects throughout time will be well worth the wait! Good luck on your journey of making plenty of new enchanting memories and I hope you get to enjoy this place for many a wonderful year to come!💜🐢

I too love the Minimilistic style and I think you have done a WONDERFUL job!! These renovations are simply gorgeous!!!! I love the Mesosaurus skull and the big fish rock art in the dining room. Looking forward to seeing more from your house. Question - Does the Upstairs now feel out of sync with the Downstairs? From the brief glimpses I have seen, the upstairs mostly has a wooden finish, floor and walls. It feels quite out of sync with the downstairs to me. Unless you just plan to paint the walls white. That might help!! LOL. Do you have any plans to renovate the upstairs?

For the large art piece, I think what you’re looking for is an impressionist painting… Impressionism is literally abstract realism 😆 you just need to find one with the colours you like.

Renoir's Dance at the Bougival would be very nice in that space. It is a large painting and very colorful. My most favourite Renoir of all time!!
My first thought when you said "smears on a canvas" for the wall where you're looking for the painting was a Jackson Pollock reproduction. It's splatter, not smears, but similar vibe! I think it'd look cool in your house, personally. The one I have has a thin wood frame around it too.

Splatter is MUCH better than smears. There is some really terrible pastel smear "wall art"

Absolutely love how the open concept came out, with all the natural light, managing to still stay on the cosy side even with the 'art gallery' theme. Mayhaps it's the mix of dark wood and metal versus a bright, plain colour that makes it make sense to me, since I've always adored that combination, even though personally, I do enjoy my clutter to a large degree. On the other hand, I do think you're definitely on the right track with enjoying the empty and bare room for a while. It can be super refreshing to have this type of blank canvas to work with, and almost magical when you find just the right piece for the puzzle - filling that space with meaningful objects throughout time will be well worth the wait!

Peter it looks absolutely gorgeous! I know I have commented on a previous vlog about this - but my gosh 😮 the floors and stairs look beautiful with that stain! And I love how much bigger and brighter every room looks- so clean and simple but there is still a luxury feel about it.

I too love the Minimilistic style and I think you have done a WONDERFUL job!! These renovations are simply gorgeous!!!! I love the Mesosaurus skull and the big fish rock art in the dining room. Looking forward to seeing more from your house. Question - Does the Upstairs now feel out of sync with the Downstairs? From the brief glimpses I have seen, the upstairs mostly has a wooden finish, floor and walls. It feels quite out of sync with the downstairs to me. Unless you just plan to paint the walls white. That might help!! LOL. Do you have any plans to renovate the upstairs?
