I learned very soon that a bass player's most essential tool after the tuner is the nail clipper. I agree with all the items on this list. Excellent advice!
Another great video! On radius gauges: I'm finding extremely challenging to find a 11" radius gauge, for my musicman stingray special. As a workaround, I'm using a 10" and slightly lowering A and D strings (which is... A workaround and not a solution) 😔
