People need to stop saying it was too wide, the cards will be wide if one guy is winning the majority of close rounds in competitive fight. And Catteral won 9-3, or 8-4 worst way.
Exactly you can score a competitive fight 9-3 if the losing boxer has spells in many of the rounds but doesn't do enough in any individual round to win many of them (Lomachenko Vs Campbell is the perfect example of this) but in this case I had it 5-2 after 7 and then taylor won 8 & 9 with catterall coming back to take 10, 11 & 12 to make it 8-4

i dont think it was a close fight. I had it 8-4 for catterall. He landed the eye catching shots and boxed beautifully. Josh taylor gave a good account of himself, but no controversy here.
I watched it with 5 mates we all scored it either 7-5 either way or 6-6

I don’t think Josh landed anything of note tbh…. He might be fit, and tough, but…. Jack got tired, his defence was brilliant.

Josh knew he hadn’t won, when Diamonte called a unanimous decision he shook his head, he hoped a split at best.
I think he knew certain judges wouldn't do him any favours and he had to really win it, when it was unanimous he knew certain judges wouldn't give him it in a close fight, especially when he heard 2 judges give it 117-111.
I didn't realize how many people could leap read.
Having watched the highlights, I am not surprised by the amount of head clashes. Catterall being the main cause barging in head low and shoulder first, a terrible style and his defence wasn't good. However, as a fellow Lancashire lad I am happy Catterall won and he deserved it with his punching and pushing forward. I wouldn't call it a clean fight, but the win was clear for all to see. Well done Jack!
No stop talking rubbish.. you didn’t even watch the fight. Also have you watched any of josh Taylor’s previous fights? It’s no coincidence, there are always lots of head clashes in many of his previous fights.
Lets see if Eddie can get him the title shot, he deserves it but i doubt hell get it in time in a stacked division where the belts are tied up. Maybe we'll get a 3rd and another big payday

Turki is going to do anything he can to get Fury his belts back, including sorting out the immediate rematch with Fury.
If you don’t like Fury, I’d give boxing a miss until he retires, because the man that controls boxing and has all the money loves him!

Yh you don't I mean it was alot closer then what the judges scored. I had Catterall winning by 2 or 3 rounds the right man definitely won though. There is no need of a trilogy as Catterall won both fights. If bob arum thought the judges scorecard was ridiculous obviously didn't see the first fight which was one of the biggest robbery of boxing.
