Others say if khotba has started, do not pray, do not say salam aalaikoum, and while seated face kibla, because khotba is considered as salat.
Subhan Allah firs time i made a mistake of praying sunnah after wait for adhan to finish. Allah akbar this happened just this friday and i got correct. ❤

Mistakes on Jummah:
1. Buying and Seeling after the call of the Adhan
2. Coming late and stepping over People
3. Sitting without praying 2 Rakat Tahijat Al Masjid (exception is when that Adhan is calling and you came late, the it is better to pray, so you can focus on the Khutba afterwards)
4. If u came late, while imam is giving Khutba, you can pray tahijat al masjid
5. It is a obligation to be 100% focused on the Khutba and to listen the imam
6. Sitting in the back rows, while comming early, for no reason > Fill the masjid and go the rows in front of you
7. Playing and touching things around > It will distract you (even if its second) from the imam and can nullify your jummah
8. Even Advice or telling people to be quiet can nullify your jummah, because at the moment you arent focused on imam and his khutba
9. Sleeping during khutba (i think its pretty clear why)
10. Skipping Jummah(s) without any valid!!! reason is dangerous because it fells lead sooner or later to misguidance
May Allah forgive our shortcommings, accept our deeds, give us his rahma and increase make steadfast and keen in our religion, Amin.

When imam is giving khuthbah, praying Thayiyathul Masjid (not tahijatul masjid) is FORBIDDEN lol.
Finally someoen that points out things and make them clear
Shaykh you studied in Bournemouth, I took my Shahadah in Bournemouth 12 years ago with Imam Abu Anas from Syria. I hope he is well. I live in Weymouth not far down the road from Bournemouth, South Coast of England

Salam…thank you for these wonderful reminders. I’ve always told my friends that I wish our Imam regularly reminds people of these mistakes. Alhamdullah last week he did. Also, I wish people can be regularly reminded of Adabul Masjid.

After effects of Jumma prayer last several hours, so one of the common mistakes can be averted by confining at home taking rest the whole day. If unable, then younger could be forced afternoon sleep to uphold superiors.
It’s just a mistake Allah will forgive if you don’t know

What to do when you enter the masjid while adhan is going? Should I sit? My question pertains to friday and all other fard salah.
Juma means day of gatherings. In the time of the Messenger [as], meeting used to be called , the traders will stop the business , attend the lecture and solve the community problems with money. after that they go back to their business. I am sorry to say Juma was not a name of a day during the Messenger[as] time. go ahead and verify it.

Sheikh, I heard you said if you entered masjed, pray 2 rakaa before sitting. We can do the same before magrib if we are in masjed.

Yes you can, as Tahiyatul Masjid (prayer of greeting of the Masjid) is recommended by Rasol Allah (PBUH)

What about people who leaves spaces at the front but people who come little later? Especially in Saudi in Makkah
That is known as Khalal & whoever pray leaving front saf empty, is makrooh.

From Friday Azan till the prayer is over it is not allowed to buy and sell for those who are able to pray Jumaa prayer.
Can you please clarify the point around asking people to be quiet?? Sometimes women use the khutba time to catch up and I have to turn around and give them a look … so they can understand they are being a bother. How am I supposed to concentrate on the khutbah if I can’t hear what is being said?? Can you please clarify?? JazakAllahu khairan.

May Allah bless you for your concern, you don't have to look at them while the Khutba is going on. However after the prayer or before the Khutba starts you can advice these poeple about the importance of the Khutba and its not allowed for anyone to talk during the Khutba and distract others.

You have stated the when you enter the musjide you should pray your sunnat , what I have notice in the Arab countries that the 1st azaan is given before zawaal. How do you pray you sunnat in this manner????

The first Azan is not Duhur Azan, it's just a notification to the people so they know that the Jumma will start soon.
So there is no Sunnah prayer after the first Azan.
The Sunnah the Shaikh talking about is (Tahiyatul Masjid) when a person enters Masjid he/she pray Sunnah 9f Tahiyatul Masjid.

@@ALNAQWI The Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) before Jummah was to pray 4 sunnah ghair muakkadah. Next would be 2 fardh (prayed in congregation), followed by 4 Sunnah muakkadah, 2 Sunnah muakkadah, and then 2 nafl.

Friday is obligatory as the other prayers, if you are far from Masjid you can ask for a permission to leave early and attend Friday prayer.
Missing friday prayer is a major sin.

You have to force yourself to give priority to the prayers. As poeple give priority to their jobs, school, university and business, the prayer should be a top priority of all the Muslims.
Pray on time to get the reward from Allah SWT and gain His love, don't be among those who ignore their prayers and get the anger and punishment of Allah.
