As someone who grew up in that era and would know, I absolutely agree and I don’t say that lightly at all but I haven’t seen pops like this for a guy this fast since that era with Austin

Impact dropped the ball on themselves when Hogan took over. The company never got back into their good days of their beginnings. Giving the X Division belt to Heavy weights? That in itself was a disgrace to the belt and roster.
And none of it carries the charisma of either of those guys. You can have a great catchphrase and theme, etc etc, but you need a truly charismatic guy with better presence to really carry it. In my opinion, this guy doesn't have it. He's got something, but not all of it. I think WWE sees this and that's why they don't push
Those 2 nights were my first events and honestly it was so much better than I ever thought it would be, i've always looked at crowds on the TV and been like damn they boring af, so i made sure i was as loud as i can be cause its more fun when youre there and then you watch it back and u think damn that crowd is sick 😂
You can't make him winner directly he didn't did anything significant in main roster yet first they need to build him properly and preist winning was perfect
By seeing this reaction from an audience prospective just makes more an wild experience, just imagine when the Royal Rumble 2024 comes around when that music theme hits 👀
