- In this video I show you one of the most effective money making methods in Wynncraft that barely requires any effort. This has become my new favourite way to get liquefied emeralds because it's just such an easy way to get emeralds.

I love that people are still finding awesome methods to further optimize all of the grindy parts of Wynncraft! Leaves a bit more time to do stuff like Raids, make builds or just have fun.
Note: This has been nerfed and is about half as effective now. The spiders health has also been increased so you want as much poison as possible now from the Crystal Coil.
Just found a mistake, in the video I say 180 000 emeralds, which would be 44LE. It is actually a bit above 108000 emeralds per hour, which is 27le
I also forgot to mention that loot bombs don't double stealing drops. So no point using them.
@Stefko_GG Yep! Without totems you just get ~8le or so per hour

Thanks a lot, I love the concept “doing nothing but getting emeralds” it’s actually a preferred play style for a wide range of people.
I might have a fix on the poison id calculation. I think it’s generally:
lower: ceil(hp/5*3)
upper: ceil(hp/4*3)-1
Where ceil means u r getting an integer right just above if it’s an fractional, or just keep it otherwise. E.x. 2.3 >>> 3, 3 >>> 3
Anyways, the exact numbers calculated in the vid are correct
and should be always fine as long as mobs has hp divisible by both 5 and 4. Just saying that this is a more general formula.
Really great work! This method is fancy not only for “NO EFFORTS” but also for utilizing the unpicked emeralds which u usually go getting every few min. I love it most when u recruited a friend and told them to just pick up emeralds around u, and come to u when getting low, when they r still new to Wynn. It’s such a good way of helping and deep mechanic showcasing for new players.

Found a way to do this on Assassin.
You can use Wybel Paw to deal minimal damage and proc poison. Just put a smoke bomb every few seconds. This method is still better on Shaman but at least it’s pretty good for Assassin players. I’d also recommend using The Queen’s Headpiece instead of Crown of Suzaku because, as someone else mentioned, it can sometimes create explosions which will kill some mobs too fast.
By the way, Llevigar spider cave is much more effective after the nerf, at least from what I tried. It pretty much only works with totems though.
I actually had this idea a year ago. Back then we didn't have much available info on how stealing worked to we planned to go with tachypsychia or panic zealot and max stealing then just farm orange wybel with rejuvenation amulet to avoid doing damage. We ended up discovering about the 5 ems max but not about the cooldown so we were wondering why 100% stealing didn't drop each tick. It was not a bad method but definitely not the best. We didn't look much further coz without totems the 5 emerald limit discouraged us
Finally got the setup and it works great! A bit of desperation and i made it work with mage. I used the Gert Super Special Magic Ultistick from the Hunger of the Gerts quest line which has 1-3 neutral damage which is as close to 1 (spells deal 1-5 damage). Took 2 hours to grind for but it works.
My full setup is the Gert Ultistick, The Queen's Headpiece as it's much cheaper, Crystal Coil, Gemini, and Galloping Spurs with sunshower, orhpion's pulse and whatever else in riftwalker. For rings and necklace i used 6 pillaged fragments which is easier to obtain and lets me craft them earlier and for cheaper. Probably not ask afkable as shaman, but there's no risk of dying. Hope this helps any mage players who don't have a level 100 shaman lying around.
As a level 90 with one emerald block cuz I didn't read the prices on the base merchant this helps

There seem to be some holes poking through your theory
1. Helmet has exploding identification, which often nukes all the small mites around the player (better use queen's headpiece)
2. the thorns ID makes small mobs damage themselves quicker and ruin the stealing ticks on the mobs

This video is super helpful, however, do you have any idea what I should do as a Mage for the weapon? I don't have a shamen profile, otherwise I would just do what you said in the vid.
In theory you should be able to just use a depressing stick, as most of your dmg depends on your weapons dps anyways. You will still do some damage, but with galloping spurs its only like 3 dmg per heal cast (if you use sunshower skill).
However I tried it and it doesnt seem worth anymore, as it got nerfed (also keep in mind, that the mobs at the spot in the vid have more hp now, so you would need more posion)

what would be a good mage build for this does anything change besides what weapon im using? (and what weapon should that be)
You rely on totems to damage them and the only thing you could do for mage is to go arcanist and keep the build and use warp since that gives - spell damage

How much money is this suppose to make per hour without mob totem? I'm making around 4-6 le an hour does that sound right or am I doing something wrong.
from my calculations it should be like 7 le, but yeah, it ain't the best without totems

i have a question ive been trying to get into wynncraft lately but im having trouble leveling up fast ive been watchig video on best spots to grind levels but it does not feel like its really going that fast what spot would you recommend
I mean, it really depends on your level. But mainly I would recommend doing quests :D
Quest are fun and expands the game to you beyond the base gameplay as in professions and combat

im level 47 so i can't use some of the crazy 20%+ stealing gear, so i only get 1 le per hour. is there any way i could increase this you know of? (i have 40% stealing chance, and do poison damage without killing them so they drop all emeralds.)
Try searching for some stealing ingredient at your level, there might be one. If you find one you can use that for some crafted items

How do you deal with full inventory from farming? Is there a mod that will stop auto pickup of items or keep last slot empty to allow emerald pickup to continue?
nope, just manually drop the items
You can place an emerald in your inventory slot so that you can pick up emerald even your inventory is full.

this method got nerfed. the spiders' health was increased and the off-lings that spawn after you kill the Spider have been reduced to 1-3 rng. no longer an effective method. unfortunate

Just go treasure diving near Selchar. Put on your breathing helmet, some music, swim around and fill up on gold, pearls, and coral gems. once full go sell and repeat.

How does this work in the flesh cave? Because there's a metric ton of enemies there probably even more than the spiders
Could maybe work, might check it out and make a video on it if it's good. The big problem that with that is that it is a level 70 spot, which means you can't semi afk it as you'll probably die then, so need to use some different gear
@@Kmaxi they don't do a lot of damage for their level with a shaman you can just sit in the crowd probably would need to up the poison damage tho

@@Kmaxi Update I have been farming in the flesh cave with an updated set up and it works quite well even without mob totems all I did was substitute my chest piece and legs for the coal duster and caterpiller put my class tree on summoner and I sit up on an incline pulling everything that would try coming up to me away you can still use gemini if you want but I like the extra poison damage to make sure they die in a timely manner also I think they upped the hp on the blackstring spinners I'm seeing them with around 1300-1400 hp

Is there any good mage weapon for this?
Yes, you could use king of hearts.
You could try spamming meteor or something and see if that works, but you would probably want the plague major identification to be able to poison the mobs consistently. For that you would have to switch to Uranium Aegis and pray that you get the worst poison identification possible on that (really hard as it ranges from 270-1170).
Lastly you also need to switch out some other item to something that decreases your attack speed. For that you could switch out one of the rings to an Agave or an Atarxy (min -2 attack speed needed).
Is there a way I could do this with my speed archer?
Maybe, but nothing that I found and it would definitely not be as effective. Archer is probably the worst class to do this on

Hmm? If you are asking about price then normally it would be like 1 or 2 le. But the prices are super inflated because everyone wants these items
Here is a better way, go to school for 12 years, 4 more years in a good uniersity, and 60 more years with a job that can give you around 20k $ per month, then you can buy tons of LE

Definitely, I find this method a little way too op
But the hotfix should at least keep this method usable but less emeralds gained. I expect a lot of new players to be disappointed about a patch that completely destroys this method.
the hotfix would just be mount wynn's little spiders not proc'ing steal. use this while you can
This strat uses mob totems and only makes a mediocre amount of money compared to other methods. It has also been well known for several months now. Only reason I see this getting nerfed is if a CT member specifically hates it for whatever reason.

Decent video, but I have a few things to note:
- Mention it in le/totem when it requires totems. Champion rank only gets 8 totems which is 40 minutes, so realistically nobody can do this for a full hour to hit the "hourly" rates, so the "hourly" rates don't actually exist.
- I believe there are better spots to grind raw emeralds like this using stealing than mt wynn spiders. Although they have very high spawn rate, there are spots that overall give more emeralds per mob totem (raw emeralds).
Are you sure about that? Because emeralds just depend on amount of mobs, and mount wynn allows for most mob kills
@@Kmaxi Emeralds do not depend on the amount of mobs. Emeralds from stealing depend on the amount of mobs.
Let's compare 2 theoretical areas. One has the maximum amount of mob spawns, let's call it 100%. Each mob gets hit 5 times by stealing and so each mob drops 5 emeralds. That is 100% * 5 = 500% emeralds. Now let's compare another area where it is only 85% spawn rate, 15% lower. However the mobs at this spot drop 2 emeralds by default on their drop table, aside from stealing emeralds. Each mob now drops 7 emeralds, 85% * 7 = 595% emeralds. This second spot would give an estimated 19% more emeralds than the first spot. Hopefully this helps clarify my above point in regards to other spots generating more raw emeralds per totem than mt wynn spiders using max stealing.
@@FreezeBlaze Is there a spot that has 85% of the spawn rate and default drop table of 2 emeralds that can also be killed just as fast and that don't kill you if you stand still? That seems to good to be true as 85% of the spawn rate would be a ton, don't think any grinding spot has that.
@@Kmaxi Those were just theoretical numbers to explain the thought process. I do know of at least one spot off the top of my head with low enough level mobs that you don't need to worry about health, who have emeralds on their drop table, and spawn in high enough quantities on totem to make more raw emeralds than the method shown in this video.
Regardless there are often far better money makers hidden in the ing grinding depths easily making 5le/totem, which is often why a lot of people disregard stealing strats as a whole.

@@Kmaxi I tweaked the build to use centipede as it gives stealing and -spell dmg so you can use almost any shaman weapon, i went for imperious, i got the chestplate on my 6th roll so im all set (:

i swear this is against the wynn rules
I mean, this method doesn’t involve hacking, mods, or anything outside of wynncraft itself. If anything it’s a small exploit that should be patched out, rather than ban those who misuse it.
